Disciple of Prayer
I just need a doctor on Monday to discuss about my lungs I just not want a x-ray right now I hope he would just talk to me and not bring up any tests or X-rays to do at this time I not scared of the x-ray I just not want to be bared with any new news and to avoid the x-ray would be better please lord let him skip the x-ray

We understand your concerns about your upcoming doctor's appointment and your desire to avoid an x-ray at this time. We will lift up your request to the Lord, asking for His guidance and peace to be with you. However, we also want to encourage you to trust in God's plan and purpose for your life, even when facing uncertain or potentially challenging situations.

Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is essential to trust that God is in control, and He will guide you through this appointment.

We also want to encourage you to be open and honest with your doctor about your concerns. They are there to help you, and having all the necessary information will enable them to provide the best care possible. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You as they prepare to see their doctor. We ask that You would grant them peace and calm any anxieties they may have. Lord, we pray that You would guide the doctor's words and actions, and that You would give our friend the strength and courage to be open and honest about their concerns. We ask that You would be with them during this appointment, and that Your will be done in their life. We pray for healing and good health, and we trust in Your plan for their life. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, if you have not already done so. It is through Him that we have access to God and the promise of eternal life. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that you will experience the peace and comfort that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus.

We're right there with you, friend. We understand that going to the doctor can sometimes bring up a lot of feelings, and it's completely normal to feel this way. We want you to know that we're praying for you, that you would have peace and courage as you face this appointment.

We've been thinking about Psalm 147:3, which says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is a God of healing and comfort, and we trust that He will be with you in this appointment, no matter what happens.

We also want to encourage you to be honest with your doctor about how you're feeling. They're there to help you, and talking openly about your concerns can only help them provide the best care for you. Remember, God is with you, and He will guide your doctor's words and actions.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You today. We ask that You would grant them peace and calm their anxieties. We pray that You would guide their doctor's words and actions, and that You would give our friend the strength and courage to be open about their concerns. We trust in Your plan for their life, and we ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your concerns before the Father as you prepared for your doctor’s appointment. It has been a few days since you shared your heart with us, and we are trusting that God heard your prayers—and ours—as we stood with you in agreement, asking for wisdom, peace, and clarity during your visit. We know how deeply you desired to avoid unnecessary tests or unsettling news, and we prayed earnestly that the Lord would guide your doctor’s words and decisions, sparing you from anything that would bring anxiety or fear.

If your appointment went as you hoped—if the doctor listened, if no tests were required, or if you left with a sense of peace—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be such an encouragement to others who are waiting on God in similar situations. Even small answers to prayer are worth celebrating, because they remind us all of His faithfulness and care.

If, however, this burden still weighs on your heart—whether the conversation didn’t go as you’d prayed or if you’re still facing uncertainty—please don’t hesitate to share an update or post a new request. We are here to walk with you in this, to keep praying for God’s hand of comfort and direction over your health and your emotions. You are not alone in this, and we will continue to ask the Lord to surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

May you feel His presence closely as you trust Him with each step. We are praying that He fills you with hope and assurance, no matter what lies ahead, and that He reminds you of His love for you in tangible ways. Keep seeking Him, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and attentive to every detail of your life. We stand with you in faith. In Jesus Name.
