Writing a letter to God, it’s been too much

Today I thought about writing a letter to God telling Him how I am feeling.

This March month has been super challenging for me.

No job update, mental, emotional, physical, financial, relationship challenges…

Today has been a little tough, just crying out to God saying help me and give me strength to keep going.

A person who decided to part his ways with me, I am missing him so much today, it’s been more than 15 days I haven’t heard from him.

I have been praying for him every day, asking Lord to restore our bond and am asking for forgiveness… I know I have hurt him.

I am ready to wait for God to answer but as a human being this waiting seems like an eternity.

My mind is wrestling… one time I feel like, everything will be alright, God is with you… other time I feel like, would he message me, will God bring us together?

I am feeling a little exhausted… praying for him consistently every single day but no answer from God yet

Good Friday & Easter is coming… I have faith in God, God would bring us together and show His glory this week.

If He has done for others, He can do it for me…. Nothing is too hard for Him.

I have to keep praying no matter what, I know this is enemy’s attack.

It’s been a pattern in my life, I have been very unlucky in my relationship… fights happen, I end up getting my heart broken and alone.

But now I am a believer in Christ, the battle is not against flesh and blood but against spirits.

This time, I would pray and cast out all demons who are causing division in my relationship… not this time! Time is up.

I request you to pray for me and ###, Let Lord bring us together this holy week and show glory.

I have kept a diary for him, let him open it and read again and again.

That’s the only thing he has which can bring him back to me.

And I have Jesus, that’s the only thing I have… I can pray, pray and pray.

I would not give up ###, not this time… Lord is with us. Jesus would fight this battle on our behalf.

I also have sent me one message on LinkedIn, it went into message request, he hasn’t seen yet, please pray for him to see that message and forgive me, reach out with care, compassion, love & talk, meet me.

Good Friday and Easter… Jesus, I have heard about that in the Bible.

Now I would love to witness your miracles in my life.

Show me Lord, your grace, mercy, love.

I am your beloved daughter, help me Lord, help me.

We hear your heart’s cry, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The weight of unanswered prayers, the ache of separation, and the exhaustion of waiting can feel crushing, but we declare that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your tears are not unseen, and your faith—though tested—is precious in His sight.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayers. You mention writing to "God" and express faith in Jesus, but we want to emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, repenting of any sin and trusting in His finished work on the cross for your salvation. This is the starting point for all true peace and restoration.

Now, regarding the relationship you long to restore, we must speak truth in love. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this person is not your husband, then what you are describing is not a marriage but a relationship that may not align with God’s design. The pain of separation is real, but we must ask: Is this relationship honoring to God? Are you both believers committed to pursuing marriage under His guidance, or is this an unequal yoke (2 Corinthians 6:14)? If there has been sexual intimacy outside of marriage, that is fornication, and we must repent and seek God’s forgiveness (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The enemy often uses emotional attachments to distract us from God’s best, and we must guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23).

You mentioned feeling "unlucky" in relationships, but as believers, we do not believe in luck—we believe in a sovereign God who works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). The patterns you describe may be the result of spiritual warfare, as you rightly noted, but they may also be opportunities for God to refine your faith and redirect your steps. Instead of focusing on restoring this specific relationship, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). When our delight is in Him, our desires align with His.

We rebuke the spirit of division and confusion that has caused strife in your life. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that every chain of heartbreak, loneliness, and unmet expectations is broken in the name of Jesus! You are not alone, and you are not forgotten. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2).

As for your job, finances, and emotional struggles, we pray for breakthrough and provision. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps through a local church or trusted believers, to help you navigate these challenges with wisdom.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who is weary and longing for Your touch. Lord, You see her tears, You hear her prayers, and You collect every one in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would draw near to her and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in Your perfect timing and plan.

Father, we ask for clarity regarding this relationship. If it is Your will for her to be united with this man in marriage, we pray for restoration and reconciliation according to Your Word. But if this relationship is not of You, we ask that You would break any unhealthy soul ties and redirect her heart toward Your best. Give her the courage to surrender this desire to You, trusting that You have someone far better prepared for her if that is Your will.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of loneliness and despair that has tried to take root in her life. We declare that she is Your beloved daughter, chosen and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12). Surround her with Your presence and fill her with hope as she waits on You. Provide for her needs—emotionally, physically, and financially—and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

We pray for this man as well, Lord. Soften his heart, convict him of any sin, and draw him closer to You. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You would remove every obstacle and bring them into alignment with Your purpose. But above all, may Your name be glorified in this situation.

Father, as Good Friday and Easter approach, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Let her witness Your miracles and experience Your grace, mercy, and love in tangible ways. Remind her that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in her (Romans 8:11), and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for her good, even when she cannot see it. Strengthen her to keep praying, keep hoping, and keep believing in Your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures like Isaiah 40:31, which promises that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Consider fasting as you seek the Lord’s face, and ask Him to reveal any areas in your life that need repentance or realignment.

You are not fighting this battle alone. Jesus is interceding for you at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34), and we stand with you in agreement for His will to be done. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Dear friend,

We hear your heart's cry and we're here for you. We understand the weight of unanswered prayers, the ache of separation, and the exhaustion of waiting. But remember, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your tears are not unseen, and your faith, though tested, is precious in His sight.

This week, as we approach Good Friday and Easter, let's cling to the promise that God is faithful. He has done it before, and He will do it again. Trust that He is working all things together for your good, even when you can't see it (Romans 8:28).

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our dear sister. Lord, You see her tears, You hear her prayers, and You collect every one in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
