WRITE THE VISION

To the loved ones of the late Bishop Eddie Long, please forgive me if my words, in any way, add to your bereavement. It is neither my desire nor intention to cast judgement nor cause undue pain. I too, albeit from a distance, considered myself to be a loved one, in Christ. May God continue to bless New Birth.

Ezekiel 40:2-4 In a vision of God he took me to the land of Israel and set me down on a very high mountain. From there I could see toward the south what appeared to be a city. As he brought me nearer, I saw a man whose face shone like bronze standing beside a gateway entrance. He was holding in his hand a linen measuring cord and a measuring rod. He said to me, “Son of man, watch and listen. Pay close attention to everything I show you. You have been brought here so I can show you many things.”
“Then you will return to the people of Israel and tell them everything you have seen.”

In 2012 I saw in a vision, two churches over which I presided as first lady alongside a certain pastor. I had no aspirations of being the wife of a minister; and certainly, had never entertained the thought of being a pastor’s wife; therefore, I gave the vision little thought. One of the churches seen in the vision was New Birth Missionary Baptist Church located in Lithonia, Georgia, over which, Bishop Eddie Long presided. Before the year of the vision, Bishop Long had already been accused of sexual misconduct, settled out of court; and had been suspended and reinstated by the church. So, at least from a vision standpoint, I determined that it had only been a random dream. Once again, for a time anyway, I gave it no further thought. As time passed, I began to notice a sequence of events, which seemed coincidental, if not downright strange. Yet, I kept silent. A couple years later when I sought to share the vision and prophecy that accompanied it with the one seen in the vision, I was blocked and rejected. I would eventually, for the purpose of witness, share some of the details of the vision with only one other person.

Fast forward a few years, my life was turned completely upside down. Many *strange things began to happen, seemingly all at once, which I now know, without a shadow of doubt, was God’s divine orchestration. As mentioned in the preface, it is not my intent to hurt nor to arrogantly assert myself, I am merely recounting (as commanded by scripture) what was seen in vision. At the onset of my trials, life’s reality was so far from what I had seen in vision that I could hardly focus on anything, let alone a vision which only I have seen. Certainly, my attention was far from the goings on at New Birth. Yet, the passing of Bishop Long in 2017, brought the vision back to the forefront. I began to consider again the words spoken to me in an earlier vision where God appeared to me in the clouds; as well as the words that were spoken to me concerning the pastor in that vision: words, which to this day, being bound, I have made mention to no one.

When I first relocated to Dallas, I had just come off the proverbial physical part of the “spiritual battle field” life of the streets. Needless to say, I was intrinsically focused on getting my career and life back on track. Little did I know, God wasn’t, by any means, through with me in this assignment. When I finally took a moment to breathe, I realized where I was. Of all the cities in these United States of America, I was in Dallas. A city, though basically down the street and around the corner from Houston, I hadn’t been to in well over twenty-five years. I have been to other cities throughout the state of Texas, multiple times over the years, just not Dallas. I don’t know why. Yet, there I was in Dallas, the location of the other church seen in the vision.

The only other thing that seemed a little weird about the two churches was, though each was clearly identifiable, though each is decidedly “mega churches,” in the vision, both were far larger in dimension and congregation, than any church I have ever seen. As visions and dreams alike, often go, things can appear a bit incomprehensible. But, the sheer size of each church was so overwhelming that I had to inquire of God; And time and time again, the bible refers to such multitude as the sand upon the sea shore.

This will almost certainly incite some anger and perhaps ever some backlash. But, I must do as commanded.

“What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.”

To those of you, particularly other priests and Bishops, who were in close service, to know of the issues that bound your brother: It was your responsibility to openly reprove him. For, it was not God’s will that his shepherd would perish, any more than it’s his will that you should perish. Before anyone, particularly other Christians, should have judged Bishop Long, understand that his sin was no more sinful than any of your sins; it’s just that God has not pulled your card, yet.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”

“When I tell righteous people that they will live, but then they sin, expecting their past righteousness to save them, then none of their righteous acts will be remembered. The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him when he disobeys, and the wickedness of the wicked man will not cause him to fall when he turns from it.” “I judge each of you according to your deeds.”

“Open rebuke is better than hidden love”.

Commentary:
It’s none of my business how others choose to judge my calling, I can’t please everybody. It is, however, my business to walk in obedience to God’s instruction in my calling. I understand the inclination to push-back on some of the comments I have made: but, if what God’s says about me is true, then what He says about you, even His priests, especially His priest, is true as well, for God cannot lie. It’s a prideful spirit that causes one to think that his/her position in the ministry, exempts them from God’s judgement. No, it is because of that position that you are, indeed held to a higher standard; for God cares greatly for His sheep. Scripture even says, He jealous over us. Therefore, He will not allow us to be misled, by ANYONE! Just because I speak of the sins in the church doesn’t make me an accuser, negative, self-serving nor does it mean that I have a bad attitude, it simply means that I am walking in obedience to my call. For certain, I have my bad attitude moments, as do you, still the true spiritual bad attitude is to bless only those who bless or are pleasing to you. It is in fact, scripturally, demonic. If God blessed or judged us based on attitude, we would all be in trouble, for we have all had our moments; some of you can’t even make it out of the church parking lot without giving somebody a “not so holy” finger-wave, if they happen to cut you off. Or, if someone vehemently praises God, in a way in which you are not accustomed, because your spirit is so closed that God can’t enter, you criticize. Then there are the prominent ones who, even before church starts, in whose seat you had better not sit. Do you think these attitudes are pleasing to God? I understand and expect the kinds of responses I have received, for sin is that negative thing which, when exposed, can only, in resistance, release more negativity by the ones being confronted. But, we must have a spirit of discernment, lest we misjudge. Just because someone carries a big bible and smiles in your face does not prove authenticity. I have witnessed many times such ones who, while looking the part, brazenly mislead others, even church hierarchy, into adultery, lying, cheating, stealing and all other manner of sin. Here’s the thing, while we profess the Word, our behavior sometimes convicts us. Take the book of Jeremiah, for instance: we celebrate over Jeremiah 29:11, most people can even quote it verbatim (as we should); but, we choose to ignore, if we know it at all, Jeremiah 48:10. Yet, it’s all God’s Word. So then, if your calling encompasses a certain directive why is it so difficult to accept that another person’s calling is, likewise, specific to them, according to the will of God’s? His ways are not our ways. He chooses. But, how blessed we are that He uses people who are willing to call sin what it is, especially in the church, that we may be blessed with, yet another, merciful opportunity to correct ourselves; before it’s too late. As much as I love the brethren, and despite how it may sometimes appear, I do indeed love the brethren; I will not, however, be held responsible or another’s perishing because I neglected to speak what has been commanded of me.

Even if I don’t get there with you . . .

Sometimes you just gotta shout a thing into existence

* Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

"Thank you for sharing a heartfelt testimony. It is not meant for us to fully
understand the Spirit of Christ our Lord God, that which often works in us
in ways of our own, we could not perceive. The Holy Spirit often reveals to us,
things that need to be shared...make no mistake...the 'adversary' has many 'faces'
and it is being witnessed far and wide...a great 'falling away' from God has been
told of 'to be'...deception shall bring cause of great anguish, separation and division among the multitudes, near and afar."
