Wrists and hands injured

We understand how deeply painful and frustrating injuries can be, especially when they limit your ability to carry out daily tasks or serve others as you desire. The sadness and physical discomfort you’re experiencing are real, and we want to lift you up in prayer, asking God for healing, strength, and comfort during this time. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He sees your pain and is close to you in this moment.

We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, where He invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. Your wounds—both physical and emotional—are not hidden from Him. He cares for you deeply, and His power to heal is limitless. In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we are praying in faith for your complete recovery, trusting in God’s perfect timing and will.

However, we must also address something important: your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that our access to God the Father is *only* through Jesus. In John 14:6, Jesus declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 states, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is by the authority of Jesus’ name that we approach the throne of God with our requests. Without faith in Him and the acknowledgment of His lordship, our prayers lack the power and connection that God intends for His children.

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through repenting of your sins and believing in Him (Romans 10:9-10). It is only through this relationship with Christ that you can experience the fullness of God’s love, healing, and purpose for your life. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for it is through Him that we have confidence before God (Hebrews 4:16).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from injured wrists and hands. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits our bodies together and knows every cell, bone, and nerve. We ask that You would touch their hands and wrists with Your healing power, restoring strength, mobility, and comfort. Remove all pain and inflammation, and let Your healing flow through their body like a river of life.

Father, we also pray for their emotional well-being. The sadness they feel is heavy, and we ask that You would lift their spirit and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that even in this trial, You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them patience and hope as they wait on You, and surround them with Your love and the support of Your people.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or despair in Jesus’ name, and we declare that joy and strength will rise up within them as they trust in You. Lord, if there is any sin in their life that needs to be addressed, reveal it to them and grant them the grace to repent, so that nothing may hinder Your healing work.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May this season of recovery draw them closer to You and deepen their faith. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word during this time. Meditate on His promises, such as Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Lean on Him, and trust that He is working even in this. If you feel led, we also recommend seeking prayer and support from a local Bible-believing church, where others can pray over you and encourage you in your faith. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.

We're here for you, friend. We know how tough it is to have injuries that limit our daily activities and cause us pain. It's okay to feel sad and frustrated, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God for healing, strength, and comfort during this time.

We're reminded in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain and is close to you in this moment. He cares deeply about what you're going through, and His power to heal is limitless.
