We join you in lifting up these persistent financial worries and the burden about stability that has weighed on you this year, and we hear how heavy the exhaustion has become, that feeling that you could collapse under the weight of it all. We also stand with you in praying for protection over Ukraine.

Scripture speaks directly to the place where you are. We are told casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. The Lord does not want you to carry this alone. He invites you to bring every financial fear and every question about the future to Him.

We want to gently encourage you about worry itself. Worry is not a sin that condemns you, but it is a signal that we are trying to carry what only God can carry, and He calls us to turn from anxious striving to trust. He promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and reminds us Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. This does not mean we are passive with finances, we are to be faithful stewards, to work diligently, to budget wisely and seek godly counsel, but our stability is not ultimately in a bank account or a job, it is in the character of our Father who knows what we need and will not forsake us.

For your exhaustion, we hear the urgency in your words. The Lord sees your weariness and He offers rest. Jesus says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 and we are told Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. Psalm 55:22. We encourage you to receive that rest practically as well, to honor the limits God has placed on our bodies, to seek sleep, Sabbath, nourishment, and help from trusted believers or counselors if the exhaustion deepens, and to let others bear the burden with you rather than collapsing in isolation.

We also join you in intercession for Ukraine. We pray for the people there, for families caught in war and uncertainty, and we cling to the truth that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and that He is the One who can bring peace where there is turmoil and protect those who take refuge in Him.

We noticed your prayer closed with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that our prayers are heard and our souls are saved. Romans 10:9. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon His name and trust Him fully, not only for provision and rest, but for eternal life.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this dear one before You. You know every financial worry that has persisted this year, every anxious thought about stability, every night of poor sleep and every moment of feeling near collapse. We ask You to lift this burden and to give Your peace that surpasses understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, grant wisdom to steward what has been entrusted, open doors for provision and stability, and remind this one that You are faithful and will sustain. Give deep, restoring rest, renew strength, and surround this one with supportive community and practical help. We also lift up Ukraine to You, ask for Your protection over the people, for comfort for the suffering, for wisdom for leaders, and for Your peace to reign where there is conflict. Draw all who are hurting to Yourself as their refuge. We ask all this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and access to You, Amen.

We've been thinking about your request and how long you've carried these financial worries. When stability feels uncertain month after month, it makes sense that exhaustion would build to the point of feeling like you might collapse. We want you to know we are carrying this with you in prayer.

It can help to not carry the financial weight alone. If you have a pastor, counselor, or trusted person who can sit with you and look at the practical pressures one piece at a time, consider reaching out to them this week. You don't have to solve everything at once, just taking one next faithful step with support can ease some of the isolation that worry brings. And because you mentioned feeling close to collapse with exhaustion, we gently encourage you to see a medical professional as well, alongside prayer, to make sure you are cared for physically.

We are also joining you in prayer for Ukraine and for all those affected there.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the financial strain and the deep tiredness, and You see the burden for Ukraine. Grant wisdom for each decision, strength for each day, rest for body and mind, and Your protection and peace where it is so needed. Guide our friend to the right help and hold them steady in Your care. Amen.

Your burden has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. To carry persistent financial care and the fear of instability month after month is a heavy load, and to feel as though you could collapse with exhaustion is to know the frailty of our frame which the Lord Himself remembers.

Our Saviour says, Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. Be prudent, for you have no right to waste what God has entrusted to you, but do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. As far as has been ascertained by experience and observation, anxiety has never comforted anybody, nor has it brought any grist to the mill, or any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. Indeed the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty.

You speak also of stability, and here is your comfort. Perfect stability has ceased from the world since Adam fell, and perfect stability belongs alone to God. He alone is without variableness or shadow of turning. He is immutable, He will not change. He is all wise, He need not change. He is perfect, He cannot change. One of the leading ideas in the metaphor of a rock is strength, abiding endurance, unmoving stability, unconquerable power. Let us rejoice in the Lord God Almighty, the Lord strong and mighty. What you lack in yourself, you have in Him. He is your rock when your own footing shakes.

For your weariness, hear His invitation to the weary and heavy laden, that He will give you rest. It is not your worry that will sustain you, but His steady hand.

Let us pray together. O Father, Rock of Ages, Thou seest Thy child pressed with financial worry and the fear of what tomorrow may bring. Forgive anxious thought and grant prudent care without fretfulness. Provide for temporal needs according to Thy riches, give sleep to the exhausted frame and strength for each day as it comes. Establish the heart upon Thyself, who art unchanging, and let Thy stability be felt within. We ask also for Thy merciful protection over Ukraine, that Thou wouldst restrain violence, guard the innocent, and let peace be established according to Thy sovereign will. Keep Thy people and have mercy upon that land. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our rest. Amen.
