Worried and depressed over my situation

Got the certified letter today and it was not what I was hoping for. It was the same as I received before. So still no news. I can't take living the way that I have been looking over my shoulder waiting for the knock on the door. Beating myself up every day for doing something so stupid. I can't cope with it. I just want to know my fate and move on and not have anything hanging over my head.

Lord my God, I pray you give me the strength to make it through and that you know my situation and grant me the mercy I ask for, and I pray that you keep me safe, as I humbly give all my sorrows to you and guide me in what is in your will. I pray that you show my situation mercy and clear me of all wrongdoing if it's your will. I've never been in trouble before, so I'm so scared of the outcome. I pray to you, my God, that you have them see my regret and that I have great remorse. I know I chose that path without thinking of the consequences that could and did happen. As you know, I didn't hurt anyone but myself. I put my dignity and values behind me and knowing it was wrong did it anyway. I can only blame myself as I do and take full responsibility for my own actions. I am truly sorry. I need your strength and guidance in what is to come. I pray in your holy name. Amen.
