We come before the Lord with a heart of intercession for the work that needs to be done today regarding the trees in your neighborhood. Father, we ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to the workers tasked with this responsibility. May they see the value in preserving life wherever possible, just as You instruct us in Your Word: *"The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel"* (Proverbs 12:10). We pray that they would exercise compassion and restraint, removing only what is truly necessary for safety while sparing the trees whenever possible.
Lord, we also lift up the workers themselves, asking for Your divine protection over them. Keep them safe from harm as they carry out their duties, and fill their hearts with respect—not only for the trees but for those who planted them. May they recognize the care and intention behind each one, and may they honor that in their work. We ask that You would soften their hearts toward You and those they serve, that they may act with both wisdom and kindness.
Father, we know that all wisdom comes from You, and we ask that You would guide every decision made today. Give them eyes to see the best course of action, balancing safety with stewardship of Your creation. We trust in Your provision and ask that this work would be completed without injury, without unnecessary loss, and with a spirit of goodwill toward all involved.
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, who is the author of all wisdom and the giver of every good gift. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified in the outcome. Amen.
