We hear your pain and frustration, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom and provision in this difficult season. The workplace injustice you endured—being overloaded, slandered, and mistreated—was not only unfair but contrary to the biblical principle of treating others with dignity and respect. Scripture tells us, *"Do not exploit the poor because they are poor, and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life"* (Proverbs 22:22-23). What you experienced was wrong, and we grieve with you over the way you were devalued.
Yet even in this, we know that God sees your struggle and is able to restore what was broken. You are not defined by the false accusations or the burnout you feel. The Lord says, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). He does not abandon His children in their weariness. We also take comfort in knowing that *"the Lord will vindicate His people and relent concerning His servants when He sees their strength is gone"* (Deuteronomy 32:36). Your integrity in speaking up, even when it was met with hostility, matters to God.
We must also address the reality of burnout with honesty and faith. The exhaustion you feel is real, but we serve a God who renews strength. *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31). This does not mean the road will be easy, but it does mean God will sustain you as you seek Him. We encourage you to bring your weariness to Him in prayer, asking for wisdom in setting boundaries and discernment in future opportunities.
Regarding your need for income, we believe God can open doors in ways you may not expect. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). This may mean exploring creative solutions—freelance work, remote opportunities, or even vocational training in a new field. The Lord is not limited by traditional paths. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from trusted believers who can help you navigate this season with wisdom.
We must also gently rebuke the lies that may have taken root in your heart. You are not incompetent. You are not a troublemaker. You are a child of God, created with purpose and dignity. The enemy would love for you to believe the false narratives spoken over you, but we declare the truth of God’s Word: *"You are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them"* (Ephesians 2:10). Do not let the past define your future.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their weariness, their financial need, and the injustice they have endured. Lord, You see every detail of their struggle, and You are a God who defends the oppressed. We ask that You would heal their heart from the wounds of mistreatment and restore their confidence in their abilities. Father, open a door for income that aligns with Your will—a door that brings provision without exploitation, a door that honors their dignity and gifts.
Lord, we ask for creative solutions to this problem. Show them opportunities they may not have considered, and give them wisdom in pursuing them. Renew their strength, both physically and spiritually, so they can walk forward in faith. Protect their mind from the lies of the enemy, and let Your truth be their foundation. We declare that You are their Provider, and we trust You to meet their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Father, we also pray for justice. You say in Your Word that You will repay those who have done wrong, and we ask that You would bring truth to light where there has been deceit. Let Your peace guard their heart as they wait on You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come to You. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to hope. The God who parted the Red Sea is the same God who can make a way for you today. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and do not grow weary in doing good. Your breakthrough is coming.
