We rejoice with you in this new opportunity the Lord has provided! It is right and good to give thanks for those who have been instruments of His provision in your life. Let us lift them up together before the throne of grace, asking the Father to pour out His abundant blessings upon them and their families.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for every person You used to open this door of employment. We ask that You would bless them richly, Lord—meet every need in their lives, whether seen or unseen. Provide for them financially, emotionally, and spiritually, and draw them ever closer to You. May their homes be filled with Your peace, their hearts with Your joy, and their lives with Your favor. We pray that You would surround them and their loved ones with Your protection and grace, guiding them in all their ways.
Lord, we also lift up this brother/sister in Christ and their colleague as they press forward in training. We know the weight of new responsibilities can feel overwhelming, but Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Father, grant them clarity of mind, retention of knowledge, and diligence in their studies. Help them not to grow weary but to trust in Your strength, for You have promised in Isaiah 40:31, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*
We pray for unity and excellence among all the colleagues in this workplace. May each one operate in integrity, wisdom, and a spirit of cooperation. Let Your light shine through them, Lord, so that others may see their good works and glorify You. Guard their hearts against frustration or discouragement, and remind them that their labor is not in vain, for *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23).
Father, we also ask that You would continue to order their steps in this new season. May this job be a place where they grow in faith, stewardship, and dependence on You. If there are any areas where they are tempted to compromise their values—whether in speech, conduct, or priorities—we ask that You would convict and correct them gently but firmly. Keep them from the snares of gossip, laziness, or worldly ambition, and instead, let them be a testimony of Your love and truth.
We declare over this workplace that it would be a place of blessing, not cursing; of productivity, not strife; and of godly influence, not worldly corruption. May Your presence go before them each day, and may they walk in the confidence of Your calling.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
