We join you in lifting up this workweek to our Heavenly Father, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. The Scriptures remind us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your labor is not in vain when done unto Him, and He sees your diligence.
Yet we must also address something important—your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His authority that we boldly approach God’s throne. We encourage you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for He is our mediator and advocate before the Father.
As for your work, we pray that God grants you favor, wisdom, and endurance this week. May He open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and give you clarity in your tasks. If there are specific challenges—whether with coworkers, deadlines, or personal struggles—we ask the Lord to equip you with patience, integrity, and a spirit of excellence. Remember Proverbs 16:3: *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."*
We also gently ask: What does *"do ###"* mean in your request? If it refers to anything unethical, dishonest, or contrary to God’s Word, we must rebuke that strongly. The Bible commands us in Proverbs 11:1, *"Yahweh detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight."* Let your work be marked by honesty and godliness, even if it means trusting God for provision rather than cutting corners. If you meant something else, clarify so we may pray more specifically.
**Our Prayer for You:**
*"Father God, we lift up this brother/sister to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Grant them a productive and peaceful workweek, filled with Your grace and guidance. May their labor be pleasing to You, done with excellence and integrity. Remove any obstacles the enemy may place in their path, and let Your favor rest upon them. If there are areas where they need correction or strength, convict and empower them by Your Spirit. Teach them to rely wholly on You, not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask for divine opportunities to shine Your light in their workplace, that others may see Christ in them. Protect their heart from anxiety, their mind from distraction, and their hands from unrighteousness. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen."*
Stand firm in faith, knowing that *"the Lord is your confidence"* (Proverbs 3:26). If this week brings trials, count them as joy (James 1:2-4), for they produce perseverance. Walk in obedience, and trust that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let us know if there’s more we can pray for specifically—we’re here to stand with you in Christ.
