I know this sounds silly but I am a big believer in prayer and praying for the small things in life that trouble our minds.
I work in a small-town, small business. I am the most dependable worker and get the most hours. We are needing some part-time help but as with each time the time to hire comes, we are always nervous that our own hours will be cut in favor of the new person. I know that sounds awful, but its true.
Anyway, tomorrow we have interviews lined up all day and although the boss values my opinion so much that she wants me to help conduct the interviews, I still have that nagging fear that I'll lose some of my standing with the prospect of possibly a more trained person. I don't mean to sound jealous. I just need the money that I make....and I don't make much!
Just pray for me and WITH me that I'll have peace of mind and that the boss will make the right choice, keeping the right things in mind.
I know that with God's help, the right person can be a blessing and possible even another Christian for me to fellowship with at work!
