Work Out My Salvation

my husband and I recently moved to another city and we are looking for a good church to go to. I am having a problem getting myself together to look for a church. I was hurt very badly in the last church that I went to. I have lost alot of faith. I want to see the love from people in the churches that there use to be. It just seems to be about money and numbers any more. I really need to feel the Love of God right now. I feel that I am falling back and I really don't want that. To be a Christian is to be Christ Like. Which means Love and peace. Almost every Church you go into now the people talk about one another and kick eachother when their down. I need God to help me rise above this and be an example to Church goers , that we all can spread Gods word with Love and hope. We need to stand together and give the word Christian a blessed name again. I need a new birth. Thank you!

I will pray for you with this. I am in the very same boat. My husband & I have lost so much faith because of all the hypocrisy we've seen & the lack of support we've had thru any church we've attended. I hope someday I will have the courage to try again. I will pray the same for you. I know how painful this can be.
