Philippians 1:6: For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
No one is perfect, but Jesus Christ. And as Christians, we must understand our identity is in Christ. If we would use Jesus as our measuring stick as we "go" through life we would realize we have got a lot of "growing" through life to achieve our identity in Christ. When (not if) we use Jesus as our measuring stick we will always be growing through life as we allow everything we go through to conform us into the image of Christ. Then we will look like and identify with our big brother, Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29). We will become one with the Father and the Son (John 17:21-23).
This day make a commitment to make a conscious effort to daily work on you so that you will grow through life, not merely go through life. Don’t worry about trying to fix anyone else (just continue to pray for them). Work on you. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul (Mark 8:36)? We need to work on getting the tree log out of our eyes before we try to get the splinter out of someone else’s eye (Matthew 7:5). We need to own our issues and work those issues out at the feet of Jesus. So that we too will be confident that He who began a good work in us will complete it as we allow God to do His work in our hearts and minds (Philippians 1:6). Then we will become all God created us to be. We will become ever better Christians, ever better men and women of God, ever better leaders, husbands, wives, parents, and ever better employees and employers. Then we all will be of greater value and of service to the Kingdom of God.

PS: God is calling all His children into a season of growth. That is the reason I wrote Work on Me Lord Jesus. That is a Word God gave me for His people. It is time for all of us to get the tree log out of our eyes, to own our issues, grow through them as we sit at the feet of Jesus, letting God work on our hearts and minds. So that we can walk in our callings in the character of Christ, Holiness, Integrity, true Love, Grace, and Mercy. This is between you and God. Let God Work On You. This is not the season you pick up the phone and call a Prophet, because the prophets should be allowing God to work on them. https://be-an-encourager.blogspot.com/2020/01/work-on-me-lord-jesus.html
