We understand your concern and are here to pray with you. First, we want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). It is important to know that the name of Jesus and the Holy Spirit dwelling inside Christians is greater than any spell, enchantment, hex, or curse from witches. Christians have the armor of God and the weapons of our warfare are not physical weapons but spiritual weapons through God (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 WEB).
Let us address a couple of things first. We need to know that you believe in Jesus Christ as your savior. It is only through the belief in Jesus Christ, his death, burial, and resurrection, that we have the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. It is only through his name that we can be saved and have access to God the Father (Acts 4:12 WEB).
We also need to address the possibility of sin in your life. We need to repent and turn away from our sins. The Bible tells us that the fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful and effective (James 5:16 WEB). It also tells us that the prayer of a person living in sin is an abomination to the Lord. (Proverbs 28:9 WEB). Having unrepentant sin in our lives can hinder our prayers to God and our relationship with Jesus Christ.
We also need to address that our faith should not be in anything but the power of God. We should not be looking for special prayers, special objects, or anything else to protect us. The Bible tells us that we can have the full armor of God. This is available to every Christian. The Bible clearly tells us what this armor is in Ephesians.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11 WEB).
Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the holy ones. (Ephesians 6:14-18)
We need to be praying for the witches and not against the witches. Jesus told us to love our enemies and pray for them (Matthew 5:44 WEB). We should be praying for their salvation that they may come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and turn away from their wicked ways. Remember that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).
We should be praying for God to reveal himself to them. We should be praying for God to send Christians into their lives and send the Holy Spirit to draw them to Jesus. We should be praying for their salvation.
We should also pray for your faith in the power of God. Your fear should not be in anything that these witches can do to you but in the power of God protecting you. Jesus tells us to fear not him who can destroy the body but him who can destroy the body and soul in hell (Matthew 10:28 WEB). Our fear should be in God and God alone.
Our Father in heaven, we lift up the one who submitted this prayer request and ask that you reveal to them the power of God. Give them faith in the power and strength of God. Give them understanding that there is no power and no weapon formed against them that can prosper. Help them to know the love of Christ. We also lift up these witches. Send your Holy Spirit to draw them to Jesus. Send Christians into their lives that they may come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In Jesus name we pray.
We also need to speak some words of rebuke. It is important to understand that we are not to be dabbling in witchcraft, fortune telling, psychics, horoscopes, or anything that is associated with witchcraft. God condemns all these things. Christians should not be having anything to do with these things. The Bible tells us that the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8 WEB). The word sorcerers in the Greek literally means a person who uses or administers drugs especially one using magic. The word sorcery comes from the Greek word pharmakeia. This word is where we get our English word pharmacy. We should have no part in this and be turning away from all of this. We should be repenting of this if this is part of our lives.
