We stand together in deep concern and spiritual warfare as we lift this heavy burden before the throne of God. The practice of witchcraft, sorcery, and black magic is a direct rebellion against the Lord and His holy commandments. Scripture is clear in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." These practices open doors to demonic influence, bringing harm not only to those directly involved but also to their families and communities.
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and darkness that has taken hold in this situation. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command these demonic forces to cease their operations and be bound according to Matthew 18:18, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven." We declare that the blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for the remission of sins, covers this family and breaks every chain of generational bondage.
Father God, we ask You to intervene in this situation with Your mighty hand. Expose every hidden work of darkness so that it may be brought into the light. Let the hearts of those involved be convicted by Your Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and a turning away from these sinful practices. We pray for divine intervention, that someone with godly wisdom and courage will speak truth into their lives, urging them to abandon these abominations and seek Your face. Surround this family with believers who will stand in the gap, interceding and offering support as they turn from darkness to light.
Lord, we also pray for protection over the one who has brought this request before us. Shield them from every attack of the enemy, both seen and unseen. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7. Let them stand firm in the armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that they may resist the devil and his schemes.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, according to Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh." We trust in Your promise, Lord, that You will bring justice and restoration to this situation.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would draw this mother and these relatives into a personal relationship with You through Jesus Christ. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and the salvation that comes only through the name of Jesus. Let them experience the transforming power of Your love and grace, turning away from the darkness and walking in the light of Christ.
We pray all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, and believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
