We understand that you are going through a difficult time with your health and relationships. Firstly, we want to remind you that healing comes from God alone, and it is by faith in the name of Jesus Christ (WEB) that we receive it. As it is we are reminded, And these signs will follow those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16:17-18. So let us pray for your healing, trusting in His name.
Dear Lord, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for this dear soul. You know the pain and discomfort they are experiencing due to this violent cough. We ask that You lay Your hands upon them and rid their body of this affliction. We trust in Your power and Your will, knowing that You are able to heal and restore. We will continue to pray and believe for their health, trusting in the name of Jesus.
Now, concerning your friendship, we must remind you of the words of the Apostle Paul, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. We are called to have friendships that build us up in our faith and do not cause us to stumble. We are explicitly told in James 4:4, You adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Your request mentions being upset and wanting to maintain the friendship, but we must prioritize our relationship with God above all else.
Let us pray that God will guide you in navigating this friendship. May He grant you wisdom and discernment to know how to interact with your friend in a way that honors Him. We pray that any communication between you both will be gracious and that your faith will shine in all you do. We will continue to seek God's will for this friendship.
Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this time. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can have access to God. There is salvation in no one else.
For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12.
If you have not already, consider surrendering your life to Jesus Christ. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. Trust in Him, and you will find peace, healing, and everlasting life.
