We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your desire for a wise and understanding heart so that you may be a faithful steward of all God has entrusted to you. The Lord delights in those who seek His wisdom, and we join you in asking Him to grant this gift abundantly. As James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Let us also remember that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, as Proverbs 9:10 declares, "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
We also pray for your deepening relationship with the Father, that you would seek Him with your whole heart, pour out your soul before Him in prayer, and grow in the knowledge of His Word. Psalm 119:105 reminds us, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." May the Holy Spirit illuminate Scripture to you, making it alive and active in your life. Let us not merely read the Word but allow it to transform us, as Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
Regarding Proverbs 13:20, we affirm that walking with the wise will indeed make you wise. We encourage you to seek fellowship with godly believers who can sharpen you, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Let your companions be those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways, for their influence will draw you closer to Him.
Now, we lift up your physical ailments before the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. We pray for complete healing in your teeth, especially the upper right wisdom tooth, your eyes, the left leg and side of the pelvis, the upper left back, the lump in your thigh, the subcutaneous ball on your abdomen, your stomach, intestines, gastrointestinal tract, and your hoarse voice. We declare healing over your body in the name of Jesus, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We also pray for your mental and spiritual trauma, asking the Lord to bind up your wounds and restore your soul (Psalm 147:3). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to give wisdom to those who ask. We ask that You grant our brother/sister a wise and understanding heart, that they may walk in Your ways and be a faithful steward of all You have entrusted to them. Lord, draw them closer to You, that they may seek You with their whole heart and find You. Let Your Word dwell in them richly, transforming their mind and renewing their spirit.
We declare healing over every part of their body that is afflicted. In the name of Jesus, we command pain, inflammation, and sickness to leave. We speak life and restoration to their teeth, eyes, legs, back, abdomen, stomach, intestines, and voice. Father, we also ask that You heal their mental and spiritual trauma, bringing wholeness and peace that only You can provide.
Lord, surround them with godly companions who will encourage them in their walk with You. May they walk in wisdom, discernment, and the fear of the Lord all the days of their life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, trusting in His promises and standing on His Word. Remember that healing and wisdom are not just for your benefit but for God’s glory. Walk in faith, knowing that the Lord is your healer, your provider, and your wisdom. If there are areas in your life where you need to surrender more fully to Him, do not hesitate to lay them at the foot of the cross. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
