We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your desire for a wise and understanding heart. Father God, we know that true wisdom begins with the fear of You, as it is written in Proverbs 9:10, "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." We pray that You would grant this dear one a heart that seeks You above all else, a mind that delights in Your Word, and a spirit that is teachable and humble before You.
Lord, we ask that You would draw this one into deeper intimacy with You. May they seek You with their whole heart, as Jeremiah 29:13 promises, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Let their prayer life be fervent and consistent, pouring out their soul before You in honesty and trust. May Your Word dwell in them richly, transforming their thoughts and renewing their mind, as Romans 12:2 instructs, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We also lift up the physical ailments mentioned—teeth, eyes, leg, pelvis, back, the lumps on the thigh and abdomen, stomach, intestines, fatigue, cough, cold, sore throat, and hoarse voice. Father, we declare Your healing power over every part of their body. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." By the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing is their portion in Jesus' name. Strengthen their body, Lord, and restore them to full health.
We also bring before You the mental and spiritual trauma they have endured. Father, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring complete restoration to their mind, emotions, and spirit. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and remind them that they are never alone.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be lingering in their life. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray that they would walk in the fullness of Your joy, strength, and victory, knowing that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we also take a moment to address the mention of Proverbs 13:20, which reminds us to walk with the wise. We pray that You would surround this one with godly mentors, friends, and counselors who will speak truth into their life and encourage them in their walk with You. Let them be influenced by those who fear You and live according to Your Word, so that they may grow in wisdom and discernment.
Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of this dear one. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in their life, and may they experience the fullness of Your blessings as they seek You with all their heart. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
