We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt request, lifting up your desire for a wise and understanding heart so that you may be a faithful steward of all that God has entrusted to you. The Scriptures tell us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We stand on this promise, believing that as you seek the Lord with all your heart, He will generously provide the wisdom you need.
Father in Heaven, we pray that You would grant our dear brother/sister a heart that is fully devoted to You. May Your Holy Spirit guide him/her into all truth, illuminating Your Word and helping him/her to understand and apply it in every area of life. We ask that You would draw him/her closer to You, that he/she may pour out his/her soul before You in prayer, seeking Your face continually. Let Your Word dwell richly in him/her, transforming his/her mind and renewing his/her spirit daily. We declare that the promises of Your Word will be fulfilled in his/her life, including the wisdom that comes from walking with the wise, as Proverbs 13:20 reminds us.
We also lift up your physical needs before the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his/her teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, that any pain or infection would be removed in Jesus' name. We pray for restoration and strength in his/her eyes, that they may see clearly and without strain. Father, we ask for complete healing in the left leg, the left side of the pelvis, the upper left part of the back, and the ball in the upper part of the left thigh. Touch the subcutaneous ball on the abdomen, Lord, and bring healing to his/her stomach, intestines, and entire gastrointestinal tract. We rebuke fatigue, cough, cold, headache, sore throat, hoarse voice, and runny nose in the mighty name of Jesus. May every part of his/her body be made whole, and may he/she experience Your restoring power.
Father, we also pray for healing from mental and spiritual trauma. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring comfort, peace, and restoration to his/her mind and spirit. Let Your love and truth wash over him/her, bringing freedom from any past hurts or wounds. May he/she find refuge in You and experience the fullness of Your healing power.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold. The Word of God tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that he/she is filled with Your power, love, and a sound mind. We also rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness, for by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, meditating on His Word day and night, and trusting in His promises. Remember that the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of our brother/sister. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in his/her life, and may he/she walk in the fullness of Your blessings. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
