We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest request for wisdom, understanding, and healing. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of approaching You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to Your presence. Lord, we acknowledge that true wisdom and understanding come from You alone, and we ask that You grant this dear one a heart that seeks You above all else.
Father, we pray that You would fulfill Your promise in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." May this child of Yours be filled with Your Spirit, who gives wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. Help them to walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom, and to depart from evil, which is understanding (Proverbs 9:10). Lord, we also pray that they would delight in Your Word, meditating on it day and night, so that they may be like a tree planted by the streams of water, yielding fruit in season and prospering in all they do (Psalm 1:2-3).
We lift up their physical needs before You, Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. We ask for complete and total healing in every area mentioned—teeth, eyes, left leg, pelvis, thigh, abdomen, stomach, intestines, and all other ailments. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their life, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their body, Lord, and remove every trace of sickness, fatigue, and pain. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we also pray for their spiritual walk, that they would seek You with their whole heart, as You have commanded in Jeremiah 29:13, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." May their prayer life be fervent and effective, and may Your Word dwell in them richly, teaching and admonishing them in all wisdom (Colossians 3:16). Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they may walk with the wise and grow in wisdom themselves, as Proverbs 13:20 declares.
Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, protecting them from the schemes of the enemy. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that they ask or think, according to the power that works in them (Ephesians 3:20). We pray that their life would be a testimony of Your goodness and grace, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
