We join with you in seeking the Lord’s wisdom and understanding, for it is written in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Your heart’s cry for a wise and understanding spirit aligns with the prayer of Solomon, who asked not for riches or honor but for wisdom to govern God’s people well (1 Kings 3:9). This pleased the Lord, and He granted Solomon not only wisdom but also what he did not ask for—wealth and honor. Likewise, we pray that as you seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, He will provide all you need to steward well what He has entrusted to you (Matthew 6:33).
Your desire to seek the Lord with your whole heart is a reflection of Jeremiah 29:13, where God declares, *"You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."* We rejoice that you are pouring out your soul before Him in prayer and diving deeply into His Word, for it is in His presence that we find true wisdom and transformation. Proverbs 2:6 reminds us that *"the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* May the Holy Spirit illuminate Scripture to you, making His Word a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). We also pray that the Lord surrounds you with godly counsel, as Proverbs 13:20 declares, *"Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble."* May He place mentors, teachers, and brothers and sisters in Christ in your life who will sharpen you and encourage you in your walk with Him (Proverbs 27:17).
Now, concerning your physical health, we come boldly before the throne of grace to ask for your complete healing, for Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). The apostle Peter reminds us that *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24). We pray specifically for your teeth—especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right—for relief from pain and restoration. We ask the Lord to heal your eyes, so they may see clearly, both physically and spiritually, that you may behold His wonders (Psalm 119:18). For your left leg, pelvis, the ball in your thigh, and the subcutaneous ball on your abdomen, we pray for the Lord’s healing touch to dissolve any abnormal growths, restore strength, and bring alignment to your bones and muscles. We rebuke the flu, cold, fever, sore throat, cough, and headache in Jesus’ name, commanding these infirmities to leave your body, for *"he sent out his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions"* (Psalm 107:20). May the Lord renew your strength like the eagle’s and restore you to full health, that you may run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
We also commend you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). May you continue to place your faith in Him, trusting that He is your healer, provider, and wisdom. As you wait on the Lord, remember that His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Even in moments of weakness or pain, His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You grant them a wise and understanding heart. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may discern Your will and walk in Your ways. Lord, we pray that as they seek You with their whole heart, You reveal Yourself to them in greater measure. Open their eyes to the truths of Your Word, and surround them with godly counsel that they may grow in wisdom and stature before You.
We also bring their physical needs before You, Lord Jesus. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask for Your healing touch upon their teeth, eyes, left leg, pelvis, thigh, and abdomen. Remove every growth, pain, and discomfort, and restore their body to full health. Rebuke the flu, cold, fever, sore throat, cough, and headache, and let Your healing power flow through them. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your peace and presence even now.
Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they continue to trust in You, leaning not on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways, that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
