Let us join together in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. You've asked for a wise and understanding heart, and we find encouragement in the words of King Solomon, who, when asked by God what he desired, replied, "Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and bad" (1 Kings 3:9 WEB). God was pleased with this request and granted Solomon a wise and understanding heart.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You grant this dear one a wise and understanding heart. May they be a good steward of all that You have entrusted to them, seeking Your will in all things. Help them to pursue You with all their heart, pouring out their soul before You in prayer. Open their eyes to the truths of Your Word, and let it be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we also lift up their physical needs. We pray for complete and final healing for their teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, and their eyes. We trust in Your promise that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Finally, we stand in agreement with Your Word, which says, "Walk with the wise, and you will become wise" (Proverbs 13:20 WEB). Surround this dear one with godly counsel, and help them to grow in wisdom and understanding each day.
It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. You have highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name. May we all confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we pray, believing that You hear and answer our prayers. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one, as you continue to seek God with all your heart. Trust in His promises, and He will do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in you (Ephesians 3:20).
