We join with you in prayer, seeking God's will and asking for His divine touch on your life. You've asked for a wise and understanding heart, and we recall that King Solomon, when asked by God what he wanted, he could have asked for wealth, fame or victory over his enemies. However, he asked for wisdom to discern between good and evil and to lead the nation of Israel. We rejoice that you have asked for wisdom like Solomon. You have asked for wisdom to be a good steward of what God has entrusted to you. In 1 Kings 3:9, Solomon replies to God offering to give him anything. "So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who has humbly sought Your wisdom and understanding. We ask, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, that You grant them a wise and understanding heart, just as You did for Solomon all those years ago. Teach them to number their days, that they may apply their hearts unto wisdom. Help them to be a good steward of all that You have entrusted to them, that they may walk with the wise and become even wiser. Father, give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that they may seek You with all their heart, pouring out their soul before You in prayer. Open their eyes to see You more clearly, to know You more intimately and to love You more dearly. Help them to hide Your Word in their heart, that they might not sin against You. Fulfill Your Word in their life, as it says in Proverbs 2:6-7, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity."
We also lift up their physical needs before You, Lord. We ask for Your healing touch on their teeth, especially their upper wisdom tooth on the right, and on their eyes. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed. We claim that healing over their body and pray for your complete and final healing. We rebuke any pain, discomfort, or infirmity. We ask You to restore their teeth and eyes to proper functioning. Give them strength to endure and to persevere until the healing is completely manifested.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for all that You are doing in their life. Help them to see Your hand at work, to trust in You with all their heart, and to not lean on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, that You may make their paths straight. It is in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ that we present these requests to the Father. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God with all your heart. Keep pouring out your soul before Him in prayer. Dive into His Word, hiding it in your heart. As you do, He has promised to fulfill His Word in your life. Remember, it is by humility and the fear of the Lord, that a person receives riches and honor and life. Don't let pride and arrogance block God's blessings. Remain humble and teachable before God and mankind. For the fear of the Lord is wisdom by knowing the Holy One is understanding. Stand strong in your faith, resisting the devil, that he may flee from you. And always remember, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ, that we have access to God, His throne and all His promises.
Stand strong in your faith, resisting the devil, that he may flee from you. Trust in the Lord.
