Let us join together in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. You have asked for a wise and understanding heart, and we find encouragement in the words of King Solomon, who also sought wisdom from God. The Bible tells us, "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern between good and evil: for who is able to govern this your great people?" (1 Kings 3:9 WEB). God was pleased with Solomon's request and granted him wisdom. In the same way, we trust that God will grant you the wisdom you seek.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine wisdom and understanding for Your child. Grant them a wise and understanding heart, so that they may be a good steward of all that You have entrusted to them. Help them to seek You with all their heart, to pour out their whole soul before You in prayer, and to learn effectively from Your Word. Fulfill Your promise in their life, which says, "Walk with the wise and you will become wise..." (Proverbs 13:20 WEB).
We also lift up their physical needs to You, Lord. Heal the pain in their teeth and eyes, and grant them complete and final healing in the name of Jesus Christ. We trust in Your healing power, and we know that You are able to make them whole.
Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Help them to see that praying to you should include praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It was said by Jesus himself that "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB). We also know that "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB). This is the name we should be praying to you by.
In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek God with all your heart, and trust in His Word. Remember that "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB). Be encouraged, and may God bless you abundantly as you walk in His wisdom.
