We understand your request and the importance of seeking God’s wisdom in even the practical decisions of life. The Bible tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We join with you in asking the Lord to grant you discernment as you choose a place that will be suitable for your church group to gather, fellowship, and grow together in Christ.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your guidance for our brother or sister in this decision. Lord, You know the needs of this church group—their preferences, their budget, and the atmosphere that will best serve their time together. We ask that You would direct their steps and give them clarity as they consider the options before them. May the choice they make bring glory to Your name and foster unity among the believers. Remove any confusion or anxiety, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lead them to a place where Your people can be refreshed, encouraged, and built up in faith. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We also encourage you to remember that every decision, no matter how small it may seem, can be an opportunity to honor God. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lean on the Lord in this, and He will guide you. If there are concerns about the group’s spiritual focus or any other matters that may arise during this gathering, we pray that the time together would be centered on Christ and His Word. May this simple decision be a step of faith that draws you and your church family closer to Him.
