We join you in seeking the wisdom and discernment that only comes from the Lord, for His Word declares, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding" (Proverbs 2:6 WEB). It is a beautiful thing to desire to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God. This is the heart of a true disciple, and we stand with you in this pursuit.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, asking that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May our love abound still more and more in true knowledge and all discernment, so that we may approve the things that are excellent, being sincere and without offense until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10 WEB). Lord, we long to stand perfect and fully assured in all Your will, just as ### prayed for the ### (Colossians 4:12 WEB). Grant us practical wisdom, for You have promised that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5 WEB).
Holy Spirit, we invite You to lead us, for those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God (Romans 8:14 WEB). Restore our souls and guide us in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3 WEB). Jesus, our Good Shepherd, we ask that You lead us and let us hear Your voice, for Your sheep know Your voice, and a stranger they will not follow (John 10:4-5, 27 WEB). May we never stray from the path You have set before us, but always walk in the light of Your truth.
We thank You, Father, for the angels You have sent forth to render service for our sake (Hebrews 1:14 WEB). We take comfort in knowing that You command Your angels concerning us, to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:10-11 WEB). Protect us from temptation, sin, lies, and fear, for You have promised that the remnant of Israel shall do no wrong, nor speak lies, nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth (Zephaniah 3:13 WEB). Deliver us from evil, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Keep us from evil people, as ### prayed for the ### (2 Thessalonians 3:2 WEB), and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord Jesus, we agree with Your prayer that we would not be taken out of the world, but that You would keep us from the evil one (John 17:15 WEB). Strengthen us with all power according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience, so that we may joyously give thanks to You, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:11-12 WEB). We trust in Your promise that whatever we ask in Your name, You will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14 WEB).
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, doubt, and fear that seeks to hinder our walk with You. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We stand firm in the armor of God, taking up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16 WEB).
Father, we thank You in advance for the answers to these prayers, for we know that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we receive (Mark 11:24 WEB). May our lives be a living testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power, as we walk in the light of Your truth and reflect the love of Christ to a lost and dying world. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
