Proverbs 3:5-6 also encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is a promise we can cling to as you navigate these challenges.
We also recognize the tension you feel—balancing the necessity of staying secure and updated in technology while avoiding the pitfalls of excessive time spent on maintenance or over-reliance on any single platform. Technology can easily become a distraction or even an idol if it consumes our time and energy disproportionately. Colossians 3:2 urges us, *"Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth."* May the Lord help you steward your time wisely, ensuring that technology remains a tool for His glory rather than a source of frustration or misplaced focus.
Regarding your specific request for simplicity and wisdom in accessing remote locations without unnecessary security barriers, we pray that the Lord grants you creative solutions and clear guidance. He is the God of order and clarity, and He can open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask that He provides you with the right connections, resources, and even divine appointments to simplify these processes in a way that honors Him and protects you from harm.
At the same time, we must caution against seeking convenience at the expense of wisdom or security. Proverbs 22:3 tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."* While we pray for simplicity, we also ask the Lord to guard you from complacency or vulnerability in areas where diligence is required. May He give you the balance of ease and protection, ensuring that your efforts remain both efficient and secure.
We also want to take a moment to affirm the heart behind your request—your desire to use technology as a means to share truth, encourage others in their faith, and stay connected in godly ways. This aligns with the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the call to build one another up in love (1 Thessalonians 5:11). May the Lord multiply the impact of the sermons you share and the Scriptures read on that computer, bringing conviction, growth, and a deeper hunger for His Word to those who engage with it.

Father, thank You for the grace you gave to ### and I to get his old computer tuned up. I ask You continue to give him grace to read the Bible on it, check his email and watch sermons I may send him. I ask for continued wisdom, knowledge and skill to stay up to date, secure and safe with regard to technology, with specific wisdom, insight and direction for my life. I ask for grace to not spend a lot of time in tech, updates, passwords and logins, yet not overly rely on one platform that seeming holds all the info and data. I specifically ask for wisdom to access and correspond with a remote location without security measures, logins and various ways of authentication interfering. Requesting more simplicity, wisdom, confirmations and clear leading and guiding. Thank you in Jesus' Name.
