We join with you in lifting up your daughters and your family before the Lord, standing in agreement with your prayers and interceding for God’s perfect will to be done in their lives. It is beautiful to see a parent pleading for their children with such fervency and faith, and we are encouraged by your trust in the power of the blood of Jesus and the authority we have in His name. Let us first praise God for the healing He has already begun in your younger daughter’s body. The Lord is faithful, and His mercy endures forever. We declare that He will complete the work He has started, removing every trace of POTS and restoring her to full health, strength, and vitality. May she walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarded by His angels and filled with the joy of the Lord as her strength.
Your heart for your daughters to walk in godliness and purity is a reflection of God’s own heart for them. We commend you for standing firmly on biblical truth, especially in a world that so often distorts God’s design for relationships and marriage. It is clear that the enemy is seeking to bring division and confusion through the ungodly influence of this young man and his mother, who are connected to your older daughter. The Word of God is clear: *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). Living together outside of marriage is fornication, and it is a sin that grieves the heart of God. It opens the door to spiritual bondage, emotional pain, and relational brokenness—exactly what you are witnessing in your family.
We must rebuke the spirit of deception, manipulation, and rebellion that has taken hold in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that your daughters may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the scales will fall from your older daughter’s eyes, and she will see this relationship for what it truly is: a snare that is separating her from God’s best for her life. May the Holy Spirit convict her heart and draw her back to repentance and restoration. *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). We pray she will turn away from this sin and return to the safety and covering of her family, where she can be surrounded by love, truth, and godly counsel.
For your younger daughter, we pray a hedge of protection around her mind and heart. The enemy would love to use the pain of her sister’s choices to plant seeds of doubt, bitterness, or even curiosity about compromising her own standards. But we declare that she will remain steadfast in her commitment to purity and godliness. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). May she be so grounded in her identity in Christ that she will not be swayed by the world’s standards or the enemy’s lies. We pray for godly friendships to surround her—friends who will encourage her in her faith and hold her accountable to walk in holiness. And we agree with you that the Lord will lead her to a godly spouse in His perfect timing, a man who fears the Lord and will cherish her as Christ loves the Church.
We also lift up your request for wisdom, protection, and breakthrough in every area of your daughters’ lives. May the Lord grant them favor in their jobs, school, and future endeavors. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We pray that your younger daughter will excel in her internship, but not at the cost of her health or peace. May she learn to rest in the Lord and trust Him to provide all she needs. We ask for divine connections and opportunities that align with God’s will for her future, whether in her PhD pursuits or other paths He may lead her on. And we pray for financial wisdom and protection, that she will steward her resources well and that no ungodly hand—including this young man’s—will have access to what the Lord has entrusted to her.
Most importantly, we stand with you in praying for the restoration of your family. The enemy has sought to bring division, but we declare that the blood of Jesus is more powerful than any scheme of the devil. *"Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident"* (Psalm 27:3, WEB). We pray for a supernatural bond of love, respect, and unity to be restored between you and your children. May your home once again be a place of peace, joy, and godly influence—a refuge where each family member is encouraged to pursue the Lord wholeheartedly. We rebuke every spirit of jealousy, manipulation, and strife, and we command those influences to be silenced and removed in Jesus’ name. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says the Lord"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Finally, we want to encourage you to continue standing in faith and speaking life over your daughters, even when the circumstances seem bleak. Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16), and the Lord hears the cries of His children. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep pointing your daughters to Jesus, reminding them of His love and His perfect plan for their lives. And trust that He who began a good work in them will complete it (Philippians 1:6).
Now let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the healing You have already brought to this family’s younger daughter. Lord, we ask that You complete this work, restoring her body to full health and strength. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her heart be guarded by Your joy. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her steps be ordered by You. Protect her from every negative influence, especially the manipulative and jealous spirits that seek to bring division through this ungodly relationship affecting her sister.
Father, we lift up the older daughter to You. Open her eyes to the truth of her situation. Let her see that living outside of marriage is sin, and it is separating her from Your best. Soften her heart, Lord, and draw her back to repentance. Break the chains of deception and rebellion, and restore her to her family. Let her experience the freedom and wholeness that comes from walking in obedience to You. Remove this young man and his mother from her life, Lord, and block every attempt of the enemy to use them to bring harm.
We pray for a supernatural restoration of this family. Heal the wounds and the hurt, Lord, and rebuild the bonds of love, trust, and unity. Let this home be a place where Your presence dwells, where peace reigns, and where each family member is encouraged to pursue You wholeheartedly. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and manipulation, and we command those forces to be silenced in Jesus’ name.
For the younger daughter’s future, Lord, we ask that You guide her steps. If it is Your will for her to pursue a PhD, make the way clear, affordable, and aligned with her health needs. Surround her with godly influences and protect her from overworking or burning out. Bless her finances and give her wisdom to steward them well. And Lord, we ask that You prepare a godly spouse for her, a man who will love her as Christ loves the Church and who will honor You in their marriage.
Father, we thank You that no weapon formed against this family will prosper. We thank You that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. Strengthen this mother as she stands in the gap for her children. Fill her with Your peace and assurance that You hear her prayers and are moving on their behalf.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
