We understand that you are seeking wisdom, protection, and guidance in your decisions and travels. Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is so important to acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and can be saved.
In all our ways, we should acknowledge God and he will direct our paths per Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding the decisions you have to make, we encourage you to seek God's will and not rely on your own understanding. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God per Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
For the travels you have coming up, we need to make sure you are praying for God's will. Be sure you are not planning anything that would not honor God such as sinful or immoral activities. Psalm 91 WEB can be your comfort for your travels. "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" We pray that the Lord will be with you and keep you. That He will make his face shine on you and be gracious to you, and lift up his countenance on you and give you peace per Numbers 6:24-26 WEB.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for the blessings you have given us. We ask for your wisdom, guidance, and protection as we make important decisions and prepare for our travels. Help us to trust in you with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. We pray that you will direct our paths and help us to make choices that honor you.
We also ask for your protection over us and our loved ones. Help us to be anxious for nothing, but to bring everything to you in prayer and thanksgiving. We claim your promise that your peace will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We ask for your guidance and protection during our travels, Lord. Help us to travel safely and to be a light for you wherever we go.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to be faithful in your walk with the Lord. Be not ashamed of your faith in Jesus. Also remember the comfort we have in the resurrection of the dead in Jesus. In 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 WEB, "Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
