We come before the throne of grace with this earnest request, lifting up the desire for divine wisdom, knowledge, and problem-solving skills that only the Lord can provide. Father, we acknowledge that true wisdom begins with the fear of You, as Your Word declares: *"The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction"* (Proverbs 1:7). We ask that You fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit each day, that they may walk in discernment and understanding, remembering Your words and living by faith.
Lord, we pray for clarity of mind and heart, that they may communicate with grace and truth, resolving conflicts and challenges in ways that honor You. Your Word tells us, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). We stand on this promise, believing that You will equip them with the ability to tackle problems swiftly and effectively, with solutions that bring lasting fruit and minimal cost—not just in time or resources, but in peace and righteousness.
Father, we also ask that You guard their heart against the wisdom of this world, which is often rooted in selfish ambition or pride. Instead, let them seek the wisdom that comes from above, which is *"first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17). May their decisions reflect Your character, and may their actions bring glory to Your name.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that may hinder their ability to walk in the fullness of Your Spirit. We declare that they are filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may walk worthily of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).
Finally, we pray that they would abide in Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). May they find their strength, wisdom, and identity in Him alone. We thank You for hearing this prayer, and we trust that as they seek You first, all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
