We understand your heart’s desire for connection and care, but we must first address something far more important than a text or call—your eternal relationship with Jesus Christ. The name you’ve used in place of the person’s identity reveals a deep longing for attention, yet we urge you to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, for all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). More than human affirmation, you need the peace and fulfillment that only come from knowing Christ as your Lord and Savior.
It’s also critical to note that you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. The Bible is clear: there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you do not yet know Him as your Savior, we plead with you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31). Without Him, no prayer—including this one—has power or access to God.
Now, regarding your request for this person to reach out to you, we must ask: what is the nature of your relationship with them? If this is a romantic interest, we remind you that relationships must honor God. Are you both believers in Christ? Are you pursuing this connection with purity, patience, and the goal of godly marriage if that is God’s will? Or is there a longing for emotional or physical intimacy outside of God’s design? The Bible warns against idolizing human relationships or seeking fulfillment in them apart from Christ. "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth" (Colossians 3:2). If there is any hint of fornication, emotional dependency, or ungodly attachment, we urge you to repent and seek God’s will above your own desires.
If this person is someone you are courting with the intent of marriage, we pray that God would guide both of your hearts toward His will. But if this is merely a desire for human comfort or validation, we encourage you to find your worth and security in Christ alone. He is the only One who will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, knowing that You see their heart and their deep longing for connection. Lord, if they do not know You, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Draw them to Yourself, Father, and let them find their ultimate satisfaction in Jesus Christ. Forgive them for any sin of idolatry, impure desires, or misplaced trust in human relationships. Cleanse their heart and renew their mind by the power of Your Word.
If this relationship is one that honors You, Lord, we ask that You would make Your will clear. Give wisdom, patience, and self-control. Remove any ungodly attachments or expectations that do not align with Your Word. If this person is meant to be part of their life, let it be in a way that glorifies You and points both of them to Christ. But if this desire is rooted in loneliness or fleshly longing, Father, we pray You would redirect their heart to find fulfillment in You alone.
Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are their Comforter, their Provider, and their ever-present Help. Let them rest in the truth that You love them with an everlasting love and have called them by name. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, seeking His face above all else. Read Psalm 37:4: "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." When your delight is in Him, your desires will align with His will, and He will satisfy you in ways no human ever could. Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful.
