We are so encouraged to hear that you desire a wife and a marriage built on the Lord Jesus! Let's discuss, since there is no other name by which we can be saved. Let's look at scripture. When Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" This emphasizes the importance of Jesus in our lives and our need to be saved through faith in Him. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and can experience the blessings of a God-honoring marriage.
It is wonderful to see you have a desire for a godly marriage. Let's look at scripture for guiding principles for marriage. As Ephesians 5:25-28 (WEB) tells us, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself."
As you prepare for this blessed union, we encourage you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly, growing in your personal relationship with Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved individual who desires a godly marriage. We pray that You would guide them in Your will, helping them to trust in You with all their heart. Help them to grow in their relationship with You and to become the spouse You have called them to be.
We pray for their future wife, that You would prepare her heart and draw them. We ask that You would bring them together in Your perfect timing, building a marriage that honors and glorifies You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for your life and your future marriage. Continue to seek Him, trusting in His perfect will. If you have not already, confess your sins, repent, and accept Jesus into your life.
