We understand that you are seeking prayer for your wife to call you. However, we would like to address this situation with biblical principles in mind.
At the 5th chapter of Ephesians, starting in verse 22, we read, Husband Love your wife even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for It. This is a tall order but this is how God expects us to treat our wives. This instruction tells us that we should love our wives as much as Jesus does. If we truly love our wives, we would not be concerned about our needs, but only hers. We would want to spend time with her, but only if it is her desire.
As husbands, we are called to love our wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. This is a sacrificial love that puts the needs of our wives above our own. In Ephesians 5:25-28 (WEB) it says:
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her; that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Even so, husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
We're praying this for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you to lift up this husband and wife. We pray that you would fill their marriage with your love, patience, and understanding. Help him to love his wife as Christ loved the church, selflessly and sacrificially. We're praying that he will not be concerned with his own desires or needs, but only those of his wife. Help her to see his love and respond to it as you have done for us. Guide them both as they navigate their relationship, and let your will be done in their marriage. Let them be a shining example to others of what a healthy marriage looks like.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
But we must also address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or even an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) in your request. It's important to realize that is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:12 (WEB) it says:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
If you've never prayed this prayer and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, we encourage you to do so now. Just repeat this simple prayer.
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don't please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
In Jesus' name Amen.
