We lift up your wife before the Lord with deep concern and earnest hearts, trusting in His sovereign power to heal and restore. The birth of your third child is a precious gift from God, and we know He cares deeply for your wife’s well-being—body, soul, and spirit. The Scriptures remind us that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who "heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:3, WEB). He is the same God who brought life into this world through your wife, and we believe He will sustain her and bring her to full recovery.
Yet we must also address the tone of your request regarding her salvation. The Bible is clear that no one is guaranteed tomorrow, and our eternal destiny is not determined by our own desires but by our faith in Jesus Christ. The question of whether she will "make it into His kingdom" is not one of chance or mercy in the moment of death—it is settled by whether she has placed her trust in Christ alone for salvation. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). If your wife has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, now is the time to urge her—with love and urgency—to repent and believe in Him. There is no greater priority than her eternal soul.
We also encourage you to stand firm in faith, not in fear. While it is natural to feel anxiety, we are called to trust in the Lord’s goodness, even in trials. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Your wife’s life is in His hands, and He is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this precious wife and mother who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You knit her together in her mother’s womb, and You alone know the number of her days. We ask that You restore her body—regulate her heart rate, stabilize her blood pressure, and bring her to complete health. Strengthen her physically, emotionally, and spiritually as she recovers from childbirth.
Father, we also pray for her soul. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we ask that You draw her to Yourself in this moment. Soften her heart to receive Your grace, and may she turn to Jesus in faith, confessing Him as Lord. Let this trial be a turning point for eternal good, not just for her body but for her spirit.
Lord, we rebuked any fear or doubt that would seek to overwhelm this husband. Fill him with Your peace and assurance that You are in control. Give him wisdom to care for his wife and family, and surround them with Your presence.
We declare Your promises over them—*"by His stripes, we were healed"* (Isaiah 53:5, WEB)—and we trust in Your faithfulness. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Brother, we urge you to continue praying over your wife, reading Scripture to her, and speaking life into her situation. If she is not yet a believer, share the Gospel with her gently but boldly. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He hears your cries. Stand firm in faith, and do not waver. We are praying with you.
