Why should we attend church?

It is Jesus command and example of love to God above all things. Jesus at an early age was found in the temple of God in discussion with the elders. Luke 2:46

If Jesus attended church, then we should also.
Church attendance is vital for anyone who loves the Lord and wants to serve Him. It is like transfusion of a rich, healthy blood to a sick man. It gives us new life in Him. It encourages us to continue our long road to heaven.
Why then should we attend our local church?

A. To become closer to God in worship along with other believers and those who see God's face.
B. For our children to have a moral foundation. To love the Lord with all their heart, mind, and soul.
C. To become a better person before the Lord and before others.
D. For comfort in times of trouble and tribulation. Praying for one another so Jesus will heal our marriage, our sick body, and to bless our life.
E. We find the sermons valuable for our personal life. Hearing God's word spoken by someone who Jesus loves.
F. We want to be a part of a faith community where Jesus is exalted above all things.
G. To meet new people and share those wonderful things Jesus is doing in our life.

Churches should not be an audience of spectators but people who love God above all things and hearing His word spoken to us will awaken our love to love God above all things and to love others as Jesus loved us.

I was born and raised in church. Love to attend all services. Even the evening prayer meetings, love them all. I make time to be with the Lord and with other believers. Lifting them up in prayer. Jesus love to go to church. The temple at Jerusalem was filled with all kinds of merchants who were cheating customers and selling all kinds of stuff. Jesus got angry and said. You have turned My Father's house into a den of thieves. Let us all go to church to praise, honor and glorify the Lord. He loves those who come into His house and will bless their life, heal their broken bodies and lift all kinds of burdens you may be carrying.
