Jesus,
I love You and know that You have carried me through many trials since the day I was born. I have been talking to you about Jerry who left me for a much younger woman last year. We tried again this past month and out of the blue, he left me again and returned to her.
I just need to know why he can't love me anymore? I still am who I am and we were so close at one time. I noticed his restlessness about 6 months before he found that girl, but I never knew that he would just leave me. I feel like I did the first time I found out about her a year ago. If I have to lose him, why is not easier, if this is Your path for me.
I tried everything to love him, comfort him, give him attention and help him with his finances. He said he would always love me and never leave me again. Then he left.
Today, I'm bereft and baffled. I feel like he can't love me anymore because somehow I'm flawed.
I just need to know why he can't still love me? We were happy for 10 years and suddenly I wasn't what he wanted anymore.
I still love You no matter what and I always will. I just hurt so bad today so it helps to know You are by my side. If You could grant Your mercy and grace and heal the hurt so I can function, I would be so grateful.
I give gratitude and praise to You, my holy Father and I know that You are still in control.
