Why Are We Given False Hopes?

Lord, I am here again asking for your help in another matter.  Please help us win our cases.  I don't understand why we keep on being given false hopes only to be disappointed in the end.  What are you trying to tell us Lord?  Please I ask for your help in giving the grace of winning the cases.  I beg for your indulgence.
