Who could love you more?

Isaiah 43:1-4

"But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, 'Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I gave Egypt as a ransom for your freedom; I gave Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you."

Father, I thank you for allowing me to run across Your "love letter" today. It's something I know in my heart, but sometimes forget with my head. Many times we get so wrapped up in our problems and struggle with our own lives, that we forget to turn to You. You honor us, You love us, we are Yours - how blessed we are! May we always come to You first in supplication and prayer, and never save You as a "last resort", only calling upon You in times of trouble. We give You unending praise and thanks for all of the blessings we enjoy by Your mighty hand, and through Your grace. Walk with us, guide and direct us, protect us and sustain us I pray. Amen.

O'Lord, thank you for this reminder prayer, I'm in full agreement with this prayer. Sometimes we just get so consumed, we forget whos in charge. We are so blessed. this is just what i needed to remind me of the Lord's love for me. sometimes we do forget, but i feel him in my spirit and it is a feeling that i never want to let go of. All praises to our Father!!!

Please indulge me one more time - God knows how alone and conflicted I have felt since my mom's passing. In both of my devotions today, He seems to making sure I understand that I AM NOT alone, and that I am his. I pray you know this in your heart as well. God's blessings upon you this day!

From my afternoon scripture reading:

Jeremiah 32:38-42

"They will be my people, and I will be their God.

I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them.

I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.

I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul."

This is what the Lord says: "As I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will give them all the prosperity I have promised them."
