We join with you in praying for your friend's safety and well-being. It's commendable that you and your friends are checking in on her, demonstrating the love and care that God calls us to have for one another. In the Bible, we are encouraged to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" Galatians 6:2 WEB.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and grace upon our friend. You know where she is, Lord, and You know her every need. We ask that You extend Your healing hand upon her, that You grant her health, strength, and wholeness. We also ask for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart.
Lord, we also pray for her son, that You would guide him and give him the wisdom and understanding to care for his mother well. We ask that You would soften his heart and help him to see the value of community and support during this time.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that might try to grip our hearts. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to keep our friend safe. We ask that You would guide us as friends, that we would know how best to support her and her family at this time. Give us wisdom, Lord, and help us to be a reflection of Your love and care.
We also pray for her son's salvation if he is not yet saved. We ask that You would reveal yourself to him, Lord, that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your will being done in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
