where is your focus?

is it on Christ or is it on your troubles?

When we place our focus on the Lord

all the time he can work in our lives better...if you remember the story of the fiery serpents that bit the children of Israel becuase they grumbled and complained?

God told moses to set a serpent on a pole and have the children of israel look at it.

which meant they could not pay attention to what was going on around them...

as you know there were serpents slithering around their feet and legs

they had to focus on that serpent on the pole

cause if they didn't...uh oh...

or peter when he saw Jesus walking on the water and he asked him to let me come out of the boat and walk to him and Jesus said come

Peter did fine until he took his eyes off the Lord

Thank you lord for my sister who shared this with me the other day. It helped me and I pray it will help others who are hurting as I am
