Believe that God has hears our prayers. He always hears our prayers. His ear is never deaf, He is never too busy. He is as far away as you, because as a believer and reborn child of God He lives in you, along with the Holy Spirit, and Jesus. He has already forgiven us of every sin, mistake, and shortcoming in our past, in our present, and in our future. If we mention to Him a sin we commit He will reply back, "what?, I don't remember that". If He cannot remember, why bring it up to Him in prayer. We do not have to be "good enough" to get our prayers heard. In the Old Testament, like in Deuteronomy 28, people did something good and God then blessed them. In the New Testament, as born again people, believers are now considered "good enough" because of what Jesus did, not what we do. God blesses us now because we are in Jesus, We are looked at as being righteous, just as righteous as Jesus. Jesus has already intervened on our behalf for all the circumstances in our life and has gained the victory over all of them. Jesus has already taken all our iniquities, our hurts, our pain, our heartbreak, our weaknesses, our disease and sicknesses, our unrest. He took them onto Himself and calls them His now. He has gained the victory over every circumstance and event in our lives. Our job is to believe it.Our job is also, above all else, to praise, to rejoice over the victory we have through Jesus. Our job is to have a relationship with the Lord and get to know Him, and worship Him, and be a friend to Him.
The devil loves it when we pray like God does not hear our prayers. The devil is constantly whispering in our ears that God does not hear us, that He is far far away, that He has to be begged and pleaded with before He will hear us. The devil whispers in our ear that we are not good enough, our sins stand between us and God. And when we pray like that we are in agreement with what the devil is saying, When we pray in agreement with the devil we are praying in unbelief. Unbelief will never get an answer from God. We need to come into agreement with the Word and what God has said and already done. Jesus knew about our circumstances and weaknesses thousands of years ago, and He came to this earth and took them onto Himself, gained victory over them, and now they are His. But if we want to take them back onto ourselves and call them ours, then we come into agreement with the devil and they are indeed ours, again.
Jesus wants His stuff back. God's answers are always "on time", never too late(it seems like it), and never too early or sooner than the answer needs to be. Our belief needs to be in God and His Word, not on results. Ask, believe His Word and promises, not what you see, hear, taste, smell, or feel. We are to walk by faith, not by sight. We are supposed to be praising and thanking the Lord "in all circumstances". When the walls seem to be crumbling, and we are believing God and His promises, then God is most likely rebuilding and remodeling. If the bridge seems to be washed out in front of us, and we are trusting in the Word and the Lord, know that God is making a new road for us which is better and more sturdy.
Does God hear our prayers. He always hears our prayer, even before we speak our prayers He knows what they are. His Word says so, are we going to believe it is the big question. Who will we be in agreement with, God and His Word, or the whispers of the devil and unbelief?
