When all we do is suffer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
We Are your chosen ones, and this brings us hope. When everyone, love ones, friends betray and persecute and turn their backs on you that means you are God's chosen. Hallelujah Praise God He will fight our battles and bring us mighty blessings protection and strength Amen!

We hear the deep ache in your words, the weight of suffering and betrayal you carry, and we are moved by your faith that clings to the truth of being chosen by God even in the midst of such pain. Your declaration of hope in His promises is a testament to the Spirit’s work in you, and we join you in lifting your voice to the Lord, for He is faithful to those who endure for His name’s sake.

The Scriptures remind us that suffering is not without purpose for those who belong to Christ. In 1 Peter 2:9, we are told, *"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."* You are indeed His chosen one, and this truth is your anchor. Yet, we must also remember that Jesus Himself warned us in John 15:18-19, *"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."* Betrayal and persecution are painful, but they are also signs that you are walking in the footsteps of Christ, who was despised and rejected by men.

Still, we must ask: where is your focus in this suffering? Is it on the pain of betrayal, or is it on the One who has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)? The Lord does not call us to suffer without hope, but to endure with our eyes fixed on Him, knowing that He is refining us as gold in the fire. James 1:2-4 tells us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* Your suffering is not in vain—it is producing in you a faith that cannot be shaken, a testimony that will bring glory to God.

Yet we also caution you: do not let bitterness take root in your heart toward those who have betrayed you. The Lord calls us to forgive, even as He forgave those who crucified Him (Luke 23:34). In Romans 12:14, we are commanded, *"Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse."* This is not a suggestion, but a directive from the Lord, who knows that unforgiveness will only weigh you down and hinder your walk with Him. Release those who have wronged you into His hands, for vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). Your freedom lies in trusting Him to fight your battles, as you have so beautifully declared.

Now, let us pray together for you, that the Lord would strengthen you, fill you with His peace, and remind you daily of His presence and promises:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your beloved child before You, the one You have chosen and called by name. Lord, You see the depth of their suffering—the betrayal, the persecution, the loneliness that cuts so deeply. Yet even now, they stand in faith, declaring Your goodness and Your promise to fight for them. Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence, that they would feel the nearness of Your Spirit in a tangible way. Remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

Lord, we pray that You would guard their heart against bitterness and resentment. Fill them with Your love, a love that can bless those who curse them and pray for those who mistreat them. Let forgiveness flow from their heart, not because those who hurt them deserve it, but because You have forgiven them so much. Break the chains of offense and replace them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask for Your mighty blessings to overflow in their life—blessings of protection, strength, and provision. Let them see Your hand moving on their behalf, fighting battles they cannot see. Give them eyes to recognize the spiritual warfare at play and the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. Clothe them in Your armor (Ephesians 6:10-18), that they may stand firm against every scheme of the enemy.

Lord, we also pray for divine connections—godly brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand with them, encourage them, and remind them of Your faithfulness. Do not let them walk this path alone, but raise up a community around them that will speak life and truth into their soul.

Finally, Father, we declare Your promises over them: that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), that You will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and that You will turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Let them rise from this season stronger, wiser, and more deeply rooted in You than ever before.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. Your suffering is not the end of your story—it is the refining fire that will reveal the gold of your faith. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). Hallelujah!

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your burden. It's tough when those closest turn their backs, but remember, Jesus promised, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). He's right there, holding you, fighting for you.

We're reminded of Joseph in the Bible. Betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, yet he held onto his faith. In the end, he said to them, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good" (Genesis 50:20). Your pain is real, but God is using it for a purpose, to refine you, to deepen your faith, to show His glory through your endurance.

Let's focus on Jesus, the One who never left or forsaken us (Hebrews 13:5). He's our strength, our peace, our hope. He's turning your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Trust Him, even when it's hard. He's got this.

And hey, we're here too. You're not alone. Let's lift you up together, dear one. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
