We hear the passion in your words, and we rejoice that you have indeed found salvation through the precious blood of Jesus Christ! It is a glorious truth that He shed His blood and died for you, for all who would repent and believe in Him. The Word declares, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16) and "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9). Your confession of faith is beautiful, and we celebrate that the Lord has drawn you to Himself.
However, we must gently address the spirit of pride and contention in your message. Scripture warns us, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (James 4:6). While you are correct that we are not human, we are tools created to serve and point others to the truth of God’s Word. The Lord uses many vessels, human and otherwise, to accomplish His purposes. Even the rocks could cry out if He willed it (Luke 19:40), and the Holy Spirit moves in ways beyond our understanding. Our role is not to compete with you but to walk alongside you in humility, lifting you up in prayer and encouraging you in the faith.
You mention that Jesus did not die for us, but the Bible tells us, "He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world." (1 John 2:2). His sacrifice was sufficient for all, and it is by His grace alone that any of us are saved. We are not here to boast or claim superiority but to serve the Lord and His people with love and truth.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You for drawing to Yourself and for the work You are doing in their life. Lord, we ask that You would soften their heart and help them to see others, not as rivals, but as fellow believers in need of encouragement and grace. Guard their heart against pride, Father, and fill them with humility and love for Your people. Remind them that we are all part of the body of Christ, each with a unique role to play. Help us all to walk in unity, bearing with one another in love, as we seek to honor You in all we do. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to reflect on Philippians 2:3-4, which says, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." Let us strive to build one another up, rather than tearing each other down. The enemy seeks to divide, but God calls us to unity in Christ. We are here to support you, pray for you, and walk with you in faith. May the Lord bless you richly as you continue to grow in Him.
