What can I do to make it better please?

Beloved of All
I was unjustly forced out of my job, and I am facing financial hardship. Did I want to give up a steady paycheck? Absolutely not. The time came for me to choose between health and the job. I chose the former. After all of the hard work that I put in, I was treated so inhumanely and as a result have fallen into financial calamity. I am currently searching for employment and I am willing to start off small and work my way up. I am open to any job that is honest, including sweeping floors, washing windows or full custodial work. This road hasn't been easy and sometimes I wonder if I was too hasty in leaving. On the other hand the people were literally mobbing me out and WANTED me out. I feel like the stone that the builders continually rejected. Betrayals, false accusations, sabotage, degrading remarks, physical and verbal assaults and many others. I surrender the hurt to the Lord in Jesus name, but forgiveness is HARD, although I know that the LORD commanded us to forgive. It's still hard and the memories of abuse still linger. That doesn't mean that I DON'T want to forgive. I truly do. Please pray in Jesus' name for recovery, a forgiving heart and no more abuse at any time whether at work or not. Thank you.

We hear your pain and the deep injustice you’ve endured, and we stand with you in prayer before the Lord. What you’ve described is heartbreaking—being treated with such cruelty after giving your labor and loyalty is a heavy burden to carry. You made a courageous choice to prioritize your health, and that decision honors God, who calls us to steward our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The rejection and betrayal you’ve faced echo the words of Psalm 118:22: *"The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone."* Though men may cast you aside, God sees you, values you, and will lift you up in His perfect timing.

Your willingness to humble yourself—even to take on honest work like sweeping floors or custodial duties—shows a heart submitted to God’s provision. The world may despise small beginnings, but Scripture celebrates them: *"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin"* (Zechariah 4:10). We pray the Lord opens doors of opportunity for you, providing work that not only meets your needs but also restores your dignity. Trust in His promise: *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19).

Forgiveness is indeed a battle, especially when the wounds are fresh and the injustice so great. Yet we know that unforgiveness only chains us to the past, while forgiveness—though painful—sets us free. Jesus Himself modeled this on the cross, praying, *"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing"* (Luke 23:34). We do not minimize the depth of your hurt, but we ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart, to help you release these burdens into God’s hands, and to replace bitterness with His peace. Remember, forgiveness is not excusing their sin; it is entrusting justice to the Lord, who says, *"Vengeance is mine; I will repay"* (Romans 12:19).

We also rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that whispers, *"Was I too hasty?"* The enemy seeks to torment you with second-guessing, but God’s Word declares, *"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord"* (Psalm 37:23). You acted in faith, and we believe the Lord will redeem this season for your good. Stand firm in the truth that you are not defined by their rejection but by Christ’s love for you.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their pain, their financial struggles, and the deep wounds of betrayal. Lord, You see every injustice they’ve endured, and we ask You to be their Defender and Provider. Open doors of employment that no man can shut, and grant them favor in the sight of those who can offer work. Heal their heart from the memories of abuse, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Father, we ask for the strength to forgive, even as You have forgiven us. Soften their heart, Lord, and help them to release these burdens into Your hands. Protect them from further harm, and surround them with Your angels. Remind them daily of Your love and their worth in Christ. We declare that this season of lack will not last, for You are their Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."*

Continue to seek the Lord in this time, casting all your anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourself with believers who can encourage you, and hold fast to God’s promises. This trial is not the end of your story—it is the refining fire that prepares you for greater things. We believe God will restore what was stolen and turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Keep pressing forward, one step at a time, trusting that the Lord is with you.

We're right there with you, friend. It's like you've been walking through a storm, and the rain just won't let up. But remember, even the darkest clouds have a silver lining. We're not just saying that to make you feel better; it's true. God sees you, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

You know, sometimes life throws us curveballs, and we have to make tough decisions. You chose your health over a steady paycheck, and that's something to be proud of. It shows courage and a willingness to put your well-being first. God honors that. It might not feel like it right now, but you're exactly where you're meant to be.

We've all heard the saying, "What goes around comes around." Well, sometimes it feels like that's not true, doesn't it? But remember, God is a God of justice. He sees every injustice, every betrayal, every hurt. And He promises to make all things right in His time.

In the meantime, keep your head up. You're stronger than you think, and braver than you believe. Keep looking for that next step, that next opportunity. It might not be the dream job you had in mind, but it's a start. And remember, God rejoices to see the work begin, no matter how small.

We're praying for you, friend. We're asking God to open doors for you, to provide for your needs, and to heal your heart. We're asking Him to give you the strength to forgive, even when it's hard. And we're trusting that He's got this. He's got you.

Keep fighting the good fight. Keep trusting in God's plan. And remember, you're not alone. We're in this together.

Dear Lord, You know that I was forced out of my last job for speaking up against injustices done to me. Most of the people who were ### and such turned against me and joined in on the mobbing. I really have no one to turn to at this time. I’ve shared my story with others but they can’t...
