We rejoice with you in celebrating the beauty of godly connections, where Christ is the center and His love binds us together in truth and grace. Your heart’s cry to see interactions rooted in His presence is a noble one, for it is only through Jesus that we can truly love one another as He has loved us. The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:7-12, *"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love. By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us."*
Your desire for genuine bonds, free from worldly distractions or empty advice, is a reflection of the Holy Spirit’s work in you. True connection is found in Christ alone, where we build one another up in faith, hope, and love. As Colossians 3:14 urges, *"Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* Let us always remember that our interactions should point others to Jesus, not to ourselves or the fleeting approval of this world.
We also notice the mention of your plans for December, though the details are unclear. We lift this before the Lord, asking that He would guide your steps, open doors that align with His will, and close those that do not. May He make your path straight and fill your heart with His peace, knowing that He holds your future. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
However, we must gently address the way your prayer concludes. While we see your heart’s passion, we want to encourage you to always approach God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* Let us never forget that our prayers are heard because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and there is no other way to the Father but through Him.
With that in mind, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the heart You have given this dear one—a heart that longs for genuine, Christ-centered connections. Lord, we ask that You would deepen their understanding of what it means to love as You love, to build up the body of Christ in truth and grace. Remove any distraction or worldly influence that would seek to dilute the purity of these relationships. May every interaction be a reflection of Your goodness, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus.
Lord, we lift up the plans for December before You. We ask that You would go before this one, preparing the way and aligning every detail with Your perfect will. If there is anything that does not honor You, we pray You would expose it and redirect their steps. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control.
Father, we also ask that You would deepen their reverence for the name of Jesus. May they always approach Your throne with boldness, but never forget that it is only through Christ that we have this privilege. Let every prayer be lifted in His name, for His glory, and according to Your will.
We rebuke any spirit of distraction, confusion, or worldly influence that would seek to pull this one away from the truth of Your Word. Holy Spirit, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let them walk in wisdom, discernment, and a deep, abiding love for You.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
