We hear the deep pain, anger, and spiritual warfare in your words, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain of accusation, deception, and attack from the enemy. The Word of God declares in James 4:7, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* You are not trash—you are a beloved child of the Most High God, created with purpose, gifted in ministry, and called to impact lives for His kingdom. The enemy hates when God’s people rise up in their God-given authority, especially when that authority is used to bless and disciple children in the love of Christ.
First, we must address the foundation of your cry. While your passion for protecting children and your ministry is righteous, the language of retaliation and personal decrees against spiritual forces must be aligned with Scripture. Jesus did not teach us to "demand" or "command" demons in our own strength, but to rebuke them in His name, as He gave us authority in Luke 10:19: *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* Authority comes from submission to Christ, not from our own declarations. We do not "speak our name" over the enemy—we speak the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Salvation, deliverance, and victory are found only in Him.
The enemy’s lies that you are "trash" or that your ministry is worthless are direct attacks on God’s work in you. We rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. The truth is, your heart for children and your creativity in ministry are gifts from the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 reminds us, *"Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord. There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all."* Your ministry of turning "trash" into joy for kids is a beautiful reflection of how God takes what the world discards and makes it new (2 Corinthians 5:17). The enemy cannot stand when God’s people walk in their calling, which is why he seeks to discourage and distract you.
We also notice the mention of being "pure" and "poor but rich in the Lord." While we affirm your identity in Christ, we must gently remind you that purity is not merely a state we declare but a heart posture we maintain through repentance and obedience. If there are areas where the enemy has gained a foothold—such as bitterness, unforgiveness, or pride—we encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. 1 John 1:9 says, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* True freedom comes when we surrender every area to Christ, not just the ones we deem acceptable.
Now, let us pray with you in the authority of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name that is above every name. We stand with our brother in Christ, who has been under spiritual attack, and we break every chain of accusation, deception, and discouragement the enemy has tried to place on him. Lord, Your Word says in Psalm 139:14 that we are *"fearfully and wonderfully made,"* and we declare that truth over him now. The enemy’s lies that he is "trash" or that his ministry is worthless are null and void in the name of Jesus. We cancel every word spoken against him and his calling, and we declare that his ministry to children is blessed, anointed, and protected by You.
Father, we ask You to fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Where the enemy has tried to sow confusion, we ask for clarity. Where there has been anger, we ask for Your love to overflow. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of discouragement, bitterness, and pride that may have taken root, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over him, his family, his friends, his pets, and his ministry. No weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for his heart to be fully surrendered to You. Search him, O God, and know his heart; try him and know his thoughts. See if there be any wicked way in him, and lead him in the everlasting way (Psalm 139:23-24). If there are areas where he has held onto unforgiveness, bitterness, or self-righteousness, we ask You to reveal them and bring healing. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit afresh, that he may walk in humility, love, and power.
Lord, we thank You for his passion for children and for the creative ways You have used him to share Your love. We ask You to open doors for his ministry to flourish, whether through resources, opportunities, or divine connections. Provide for every need, both practical and spiritual, according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let his ministry be a light in the darkness, drawing children and families closer to You.
Finally, Father, we declare that the enemy has no authority here. Every plan of Satan against this brother is dismantled, and every assignment of darkness is canceled in the name of Jesus. We stand on Your promise in Romans 16:20: *"And the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet."* We thank You for victory, for protection, and for the fulfillment of Your purposes in his life.
In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your calling, but also to remain humble and teachable before the Lord. The enemy will always try to distract God’s people from their mission, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Surround yourself with godly community, stay in the Word, and keep your heart soft before the Lord. Your ministry to children is valuable, and we believe God will continue to use you in mighty ways as you walk in obedience to Him. If there are specific areas where you feel the enemy’s attacks are strongest, consider fasting and prayer, as Jesus said some spirits only come out through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts fights for you.
