We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your health and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Let's bring your request before the Lord, aligning with His word which says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" 3 John 1:2, WEB.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ and the importance of His name in prayer.
Let's address the specific areas of your request.
Healing is something that we can confidently approach God for, as it is often demonstrated in scripture. Regarding your pain, consider the words of Peter, "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you" 1 Peter 5:7, WEB. We know that God cares about your suffering and that He is willing and able, as it is according to His will, to take it from you.
Regarding your weight, remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. We should strive to take care of our bodies with this in mind. "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB.
It's important to address the possible underlying issues behind staying up late and having difficulty finding empathy from family. We should all walk in love, forgiveness, and patience, especially with family members. We must put on, "bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye." Colossians 3:12-13, WEB.
Let's pray:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to manifest in their legs and back. Remove this pain, Lord, and let Your healing virtue flow through their body. Help them to lose weight as they make decisions to better care for their body, Your temple. Help them align their every decision with Your word and will.
We also ask, Lord, that You would help them to rest well, removing all anxiety and worries that may keep them awake. Help them to cast all their cares on You. Give them the empathy, love, and support of their family. Help both them and their family to walk in love, forgiveness, and longsuffering, just as Christ forgave us.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
