We will rejoice

[HOPE]

Hello,

I am still reading and enjoying The Power of Positive Thinking as soon as I wake up each morning. Today I was reminded in my reading to keep these two things in mind:

He who is of a cheerful heart [has] a continual feast.

Proverbs 15:15

This is the day which Yahweh has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalms 118:24

As simplistic as it sounds, I really do believe that keeping our thoughts focused on the positive in our lives attracts more positive things to us.

As always, the rest of my prayer for today is the same:

Lord,

I bind Kevin’s mind to the mind of Christ. I bind Kevin’s will and desire to God’s will and purpose for his life. I bind Kevin to the family that he created in the name of God when he made his vows in church in front of our families, friends and God himself.

I bind my heart to Your heart. May You soften my husband’s heart and bring him to a renewed love for me. May he desire the special bond of family---father, mother and child.

I pray that Kevin desires that our family stay together and reunite mother, father and child under one roof in love, joy and mutual respect. AMEN

I agree that attitude is everything. You can affect how each and every day turns out simply by the way you approach it. If you go in thinking the worst, it's probably gonna happen. God allows us to make the conscious choice about how we're going to face things, and I truly feel that sometimes we limit His blessings by our attitudes being misaligned with His will. I was listening to Christian radio the other day, and the speaker said - "God gives us both wings and an anchor. Our job is to figure out which one we should be using." I believe that's true.

Father, I pray that we would approach each day with Your attitude in our hearts. Help us to grow and succeed in spite of the limitations we place on ourselves. Help us to see our lives as You do...and to trust You enough to make them come true. Amen.

Father God once again I ask of you for this woman and her family as I ask for my own, to please intervene in the distruction that satan is trying to inflict on this marriage and family, Lord take hold and do not let go, only you can make those decisions Lord. Please keep Hope strong and steadfast in her faith, and prayer, because her family is already coming back together I confess this in the name of Jesus, AMEN
