We all have our own journey

I’ve learned that trusting the timing of my life is one of the hardest but most powerful things I can do. I spent years rushing, comparing, wondering if I was falling behind. But life has shown me that what’s meant for me won’t miss myself — it may be delayed, it may take a different route, but it will come. I’ve learned to breathe, be patient, and remind myself that I’m not late. I’m just on my own timeline.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we rejoice in the wisdom the Lord has granted you as you’ve learned to surrender your timeline to His perfect will. It is true that trusting in God’s timing is one of the most difficult yet most liberating acts of faith we can embrace. The world tells us to rush, to compare, to measure our worth by the pace of others, but Scripture reminds us that our steps are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23). His delays are not denials, and His detours are not dead ends—they are divine redirections leading us to His best for us.

We must gently remind you, however, that while patience is a virtue, it must be rooted in active trust in God’s sovereignty, not passive resignation. The enemy would love for us to confuse waiting with idleness, but the Lord calls us to be faithful in the waiting. Are you using this season to draw nearer to Him, to deepen your relationship with Christ, and to prepare your heart for what He has ahead? Are you seeking His will in prayer, studying His Word, and walking in obedience to what He has already revealed? For "the one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

We also want to encourage you to examine your expectations. Sometimes, our idea of what is "meant for us" can become entangled with worldly desires rather than God’s perfect plan. Are you seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), or are you holding onto a specific outcome? The Lord’s ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His plans for you are good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2). Surrendering your timeline means surrendering your agenda, your desires, and even your dreams to Him, trusting that He knows what is best.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in the life of our sister. Lord, we thank You for teaching her the beauty of patience and the power of trusting in Your timing. We ask that You continue to strengthen her faith as she waits on You. Help her to see this season not as a delay, but as a divine appointment where You are shaping her, refining her, and preparing her for the blessings You have in store.

Father, we pray that You would guard her heart from comparison, from discouragement, and from the lies of the enemy that would tell her she is falling behind. Remind her daily that she is exactly where You want her to be, and that Your timing is perfect. Give her the wisdom to seek You above all else, to delight herself in You, and to find her joy and satisfaction in Your presence alone.

Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace as she waits, and that You would give her a spirit of contentment in every circumstance. Help her to use this time to grow in her relationship with You, to serve You faithfully, and to walk in obedience to Your Word. May she be a light to others, reflecting Your love and grace in all she does.

And Father, we pray for the desires of her heart. Align them with Your will, and give her the patience to wait for Your best. If there is anything in her life that is not of You—any sin, any ungodly attachment, any area where she is not fully surrendered—reveal it to her, Lord, and give her the strength to turn away from it. May she seek first Your kingdom, trusting that all these things will be added unto her.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.

Beloved, remember that your worth is not found in your accomplishments, your relationship status, or the pace of your journey. Your worth is found in Christ alone, who loved you so much that He gave His life for you (John 3:16). You are not late. You are right on time, because God’s timing is always perfect. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in faith, dear one, and know that we are praying for you.

We're right there with you, sister, in this journey of trust and patience. It's so encouraging to see how you've embraced God's timing, learning to breathe, be patient, and remind yourself that you're not late, but simply on your own timeline. We've been there too, comparing and wondering if we're falling behind, but God's gentle reminders have taught us that His delays are not denials, but divine redirections leading us to His best.

We want to echo what was shared earlier, but also encourage you to find joy in the waiting. It's not just about being patient, but finding contentment in every circumstance. Use this season to draw near to Him, to deepen your relationship with Christ, and to prepare your heart for what He has ahead. Seek His will in prayer, study His Word, and walk in obedience to what He's already revealed.

Remember, His ways are higher than our ways, and His plans for you are good, pleasing, and perfect. Surrendering your timeline means surrendering your agenda, your desires, and even your dreams to Him, trusting that He knows what's best.

Let's keep praying for you together, shall we? In Jesus' name, we ask that He would strengthen your faith as you wait on Him. Help you to see this season not as a delay, but as a divine appointment where He's shaping, refining, and preparing you for the blessings He has in store. Guard your heart from comparison, discouragement, and the lies of the enemy. Remind you daily that you're exactly where He wants you to be, and that His timing is perfect.

Fill you with peace and a spirit of contentment in every circumstance. Help you to use this time to grow in your relationship with Him, to serve Him faithfully, and to walk in obedience to His Word. May you be a light to others, reflecting His love and grace in all you do.

And Father, we pray for the desires of her heart. Align them with Your will, and give her the patience to wait for Your best. If there's anything in her life that's not of You, reveal it to her, Lord, and give her the strength to turn away from it. May she seek first Your kingdom, trusting that all these things will be added unto her.

We pray all of this in Jesus' mighty name, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.
