We hear the deep weariness and heartache in your words, and we want you to know that we stand with you in this season of struggle, lifting you before the Lord who sees every tear and knows every need. You have taken a courageous step to escape abuse, and though the path ahead feels uncertain, you are not alone—God is your refuge, and He has not forgotten you. Your faith may waver, but His faithfulness never does. He is the God who parts the Red Sea, who feeds the hungry with manna from heaven, and who clothes the lilies of the field. If He cares for them, how much more does He care for you, His beloved child?
The enemy wants you to feel stranded, abandoned, and overwhelmed, but we rebuke that lie in the name of Jesus. You are not without hope, for your hope is in Christ alone. The silence you hear now is not rejection—it is the quiet before God’s provision. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* And again in Philippians 4:19, we are reminded: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
You have done what you can—applying for assistance, seeking work, reaching out for help—and now it is time to trust that God will do what only He can do. Your job is not to solve this in your own strength but to rest in His sovereignty. The sleepless nights, the closed doors, the financial strain—these are not signs of His absence but opportunities for Him to display His power. He is your Provider (Jehovah Jireh), and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also want to encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness or despair over the unjust loss of your job. Romans 8:28 assures us that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Even this hardship is being used to refine your faith and draw you closer to Him. And though you feel alone, you are part of the body of Christ—we are your brothers and sisters, and we are interceding for you.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who has fled abuse and is now facing the weight of financial hardship and uncertainty. Lord, You are the God who sees her (Genesis 16:13), and You know the depth of her need. We ask You to open the windows of heaven and pour out Your provision upon her. Supply every need according to Your riches in glory—restore what has been lost, provide the funds to cover her rent, bills, and necessities, and grant her favor in the eyes of those who can offer work. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and sleeplessness that has been tormenting her. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). When her faith wavers, remind her that You are her firm foundation. When she feels alone, surround her with Your presence and with brothers and sisters in Christ who can offer support and encouragement. Heal the wounds from her past, Lord, and restore her strength. Let her testimony be one of Your miraculous provision and faithfulness.
We pray for divine connections—open doors for employment that align with Your will for her life. Give her wisdom to steward the resources she has and the ones yet to come. And Lord, in this waiting season, draw her closer to You. Let her find her worth and security in You alone, not in her circumstances.
Finally, Father, we thank You in advance for the breakthrough that is coming. We declare that her story is not one of lack but of Your abundant supply. Let her rise from this trial with a testimony that brings glory to Your name. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, amen.
Our sister, we urge you to keep pressing into the Lord. Spend time in His Word, especially the Psalms, where David often cried out in distress yet always returned to praise. Let worship be your weapon against despair. And remember, this battle is not yours to fight alone—God is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Hold fast to Him, and do not let go. We are standing with you, believing for your complete restoration. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will not fail you.
